28-10-2024My rats love this tube. It is getting a bit of wear and some holes over time but it’s pretty durable and holding it’s own

> 3 dayJust upgraded to a new cage for my 2 young rats who are getting bigger and added this as part of the layout. They absolutely love it and have practically spent the past two days only inside of it. Its a lot more sturdy than I expected and easy to form into whatever shape seems fun. My only worry is Im absolutely dreading cleaning it because theyve been pooping and eating in it so its covered in crumbs and it has so many little ring crevasses to make it flexible.

> 3 dayIt’s in their play space (not the main cage) and has held up well (and they love it)

> 3 dayMy rats only had it for a couple days before I had to throw it out, plus good luck on cleaning it. I clean their cage every day and toys every other unless they smell or has pee on them then I was them right away. But this tunnel didn’t last at all

> 3 dayIts my rats favorite hideout. Its cool for small animals to sleep in and you can put bedding in to simulate burrowing. They can easily chew through but the holes dont ruin the product. I clean mine with a hose but there always seems to be some left over poop or bedding thats difficult to get out. Still, nothing that makes it not worth the purchase.

> 3 dayI bought this thinking it would be much smaller for a hamster. I did end up using it as a tunnel system however the hamster ended up chewing into the tunnel and I had to remove it. This was also very hard to clean

> 3 dayI built a new habitat in a 50 gallon terrarium (36x18x18) for our hamster. There are several hideaways, tunnel options, a sand bath, 11 wheel, etc. I read some people having trouble with their hamster chewing into this tunnel over time, but I figured there would be enough enrichment for the hamster that it would at least take a while before she started chewing the tunnel. Well, she had a huge 3 x 5 hole in the side of the tunnel in a single day. I had to remove the tunnel along with a lot of bedding because there were little plastic pieces everywhere. Hopefully she didnt swallow the plastic bits and it doesnt harm her. I highly recommend against keeping one of these inside of your hamsters habitat. Im sure itd be fine to use in a separate playpen under supervision.

> 3 dayMy rats love these tunnels so much, I’ve already bought 3 and will probably buy more in the future. Can be buried under substrate or zip tied to the cage for even more versatility.
