New Balance Womens 608 V5 Cross Trainer

My wife wore leg braces as a child. I noticed that she purchased these shoes exclusively (two pair a year) for her work. I ask her why and she replied; they are the only shoes that allow me to stand nine hours a day on a concrete floor with little to no pain in my feet. I buy her a new pair every time they go below $60.00. I now have six pairs put up for her that she doesnt know about. Im battling prostate cancer and I thought it would be a true testament of my love after Im gone for her to find all of these shoes. I will keep purchasing these shoes as long as Im around. Live every day like it is your last, because it could be!

I only use New Balance 608s for working out. Have for years. I sometimes buy the black ones because they are less expensive, and since I have a home gym I dont care what color they are. It seems the black ones run smaller than the white. I suggest ordering a 1/2 size larger than normal. The last 2 pair of black 608s the back rubs against my heel and wears out. Never happens with the white.

I am 80 years old and do a lot of walking. I can wear these all day and never have sore legs or feet.

Could not find wide size in store. These are perfect!

I recently started using the New Balance #608v5 sneakers and they are burning my feet and creating pains in my legs. They advertise cushioned and comfort but they are anything but. They are the worst sneakers I have ever worn. Very disappointed. They look nice but looks arent everything.

I guess my feet are growing; I bought another brand in my regular size and my toes are clear up at the end. I was able to buy these ins 10-1/2 -- and they fit so much better.

Feel a little plastic

I usually wear an 8.5 wide in a New Balance walking shoe, I read most of the reviews before purchasing and when these shoes arrived and I pulled them out of the box, I was totally surprised, they looked like a shoe that would fit my husband. They were so big and bulky, tried them on and they felt more like a 9.5. I could get my index and middle finger both between my heel and the shoe. I really loved the style, but I returned them. I would suggest getting a size smaller and a size skinnier, maybe 2 sizes skinnier.

Great shoe for work. Very comfortable and the quality is good. Glad I purchased a wide width, have enough room.

2nd time I wore them the material loop for one of the shoelaces pulled out. No longer wearable and they are brand new.
