Works as a male/male adapter to connect to female inside thread Of regular garden hose to 3/4 inch female inside threaded foot valve. I used it on a sump pump to suck out water from a pool observation pipe that was 8 ft deep.

Just what I needed.

I needed to connect pipe threading coming out of the wall to a hose threaded irrigation timer that I bought. I applied some teflon tape to the pipe side and screwed everything together. It works with no leaks and barely takes up any space.

I use this to adapt water hose to a whole house filter which had pipe threads. Great quality, no leaks and worked perfectly.

In my local hardware store, hose fittings cost a fortune ... so when this came down to a $3 sale price, I was thrilled to pick up a couple to have around.
