> 24 hourI’m not a first time mom, but I can tell you, I wish I had this the first time! It makes nursing so easy and pleasant for me AND baby! I’ve used a boppy before and the Brest Friend is so much more ergonomic. I do use the pocket (so I always have nipple cream and baby finger nail cutters at the ready). It’s such an essential part of my everyday that I find it hard to give it up for a few hours to wash and hang dry. HIGHLY recommend! You’ll be logging lots of hours breastfeeding, might as well invest in the best.

> 24 hourI registered for a Boppy and used it for the first 7 weeks. My back was killing me. I didn’t even realize that there might be better options out there. I got this today, and it feels way better than my Boppy right from the start. There is way more support. The only thing that I don’t like is that it is a little harder to get in and out of, but it’s worth it for the relief to my back. I’d definitely recommend it!

> 24 hourLOVE THIS!! Offers great support while nursing in bed or around the house - writing this review while using it. I love that it is really adjustable (important for me as a plus size momma). It is quiet to take off when done thanks to the snap buckle. And I really like that it has a little storage pocket - comes in handy as often my each is limited once I start nursing baby. I had the boppy with first born and hated it… this is much much better!

> 24 hourBefore I got this pillow, I suffered increasingly worsening pain of my back, shoulder and neck area. After I bought it, and I waited because it is $50, I started to experience relieve of my symptoms. This pillow has a sturdy foam which is supporting your baby when feeding and I also put an additional support (blanket or pillow) under the My brest pillow on the side that my baby feeds for easy reach. The lower back is supported with a belt which holds the pillow in place. I would suggest to make it a bit bulkier for even better back support.

> 24 hourI lived with this thing on. Made nursing so much easier and comfortable for both of us. Can also be good for bottle feeding but not totally necessary

> 24 hourSuper cute print!! I was so excited to find this on Amazon after getting targeted for ads all over the place haha Ive used a Boppy for my first two babies but really wanted to try this for my third but none of the other designs were trendy or cute, then this one came along! Honestly love the pattern. Its also very supportive and keeps the baby sitting pretty high so you dont have to do any bending over to nurse. I tried it out for the first week or so after having my baby and loved it.... Then I just stopped using it and ultimately returned it. Its just pretty bulky and felt impractical to use all the time! Especially when Im dealing with my other two kids. I usually just grab a pillow and get as comfortable as I can instead of reaching for this thing... Especially when Im holding a baby in one arm. This pillow is more like a two arm job to get it positioned! So yes, works well, but doesnt feel practical long term. Or mostly I see it as useful when youre learning the ropes of nursing and need all the support to get into position. And lastly, it definitely screams NURSING PILLOW. I do wish the design was more discreet but I guess you cant have it all!

> 24 hourIf you’re breastfeeding this is the ULTIMATE GAME CHANGER. Way better to use bc of the Velcro and it allows it stay in place. I’ve purchased other pillows to use and this one right here is the icing on the Cake! There’s also a pocket in the front to help you keep a birthing cloth or nipple cream near by.

> 24 hourI originally bought the boppy and the lactation specialist at my birth hospital recommended the Breast Friend pillow instead. I tried the boppy at home and it doesn’t work for my 6 lb son, but the breast friend pillow works soooo well. I wanted to cry in relief lol. Get this!

> 24 hourI purchased the gold super deluxe. I loved using my regular deluxe grey one previously for ebf several kiddos. I ended up gifting it along to a family member after our last baby. Now expecting again, I purchased this similar one which is slightly thicker than the regular deluxe. I like that this one has a waterproof plastic cover over the middle portion where babies generally spit up, making it easier to protect the foam from milk seeping through. The color is more of a cantaloupe yellow versus dandelion yellow that is shown in the picture. Not a big deal to me but some people may be big on color coordination. Between this and the organic cotton one that I ordered, I will be keeping this one bc it actually has less of a chemical smell straight out of the package. Also, not sure why some people say these covers are difficult to take off and on to wash. You just have to unzip carefully and compress the foam as you zip. Ive never had a problem. I also prefer the softer texture of the polyester. I am generally a very natural fabric kind of person, but when it comes to these, I feel like the polyester is softer against the skin. As for temperature regulation, when the weather gets hotter, I like to use a light cotton burp cloth, like a muslin one, laid across the top to both protect from spit up and have a little more sweat absorption for baby and my body and I only use it for feeds and then take baby off. The bumps on the top can be awkward at first until you figure out how to position your arms and babys head and body and then I think it feels more stable than I ever felt with a regular pillow or boppy (look at their site or the picture it comes with for proper positioning). It takes some personal adjustments but once you get the hang of it, its a very supportive pillow.
