MSI Full HD FreeSync Gaming Monitor 24 Curved non-Glare 1ms LED Wide Screen 1920 x 1080 144Hz Refresh Rate (Optix G24C)

This monitor, has very little info available online. As so I will share what I have learned. FreeSync, Depends on what your Refresh rate is set at. Radeon settings claims 30-60hz when the RR is at 60. at 120hz (HDMI MAX) its 90-120hz and at 144hz its 90-144hz. Ive had freesync disabled since the first time I played a game on them! I see really bad blinking any time its enabled and the game nears 100 or lower fps. If you can not push 120+ all day I wouldnt recommend this monitor for its freesync features. Other then that I love my monitors. I bought two to sit side my side. I did buy an extra Display Port cable in fear it might not come with one due to the conflicting answers on different sites about it. Although it did however come with a DP cable it was only about 3 feet long and would not reach the far monitor. Because I run an older card I only have one Display port on my gpu so my other monitor runs on HDMI at 120hz. One at 144hz and one at 120hz with a game stretched across both with freesync enabled (AND WORKING) with the game locked at 120fps it looks flawless can not tell the difference. I do recommend putting them in the FPS setting straight out of the box it will limit the blacks a bit but makes other colors pop! as well as increasing the contrast a bit..

so latley its been flickering... like a fluorescent light almost.... today i woke up and turned it on... the backlight seems to have completely stopped working... cant even really see the screen now.... go with aoc or something else... never had ANY monitor do this to me my whole life... i still have my old samsung from highschool and even that works completely fine..... never buying another msi monitor again. UPDATE: sent them a message over a week ago with still no reply, terrible customer service on top of a faulty product....what a GREAT company....absolute joke. stay far far away from msi.

I nutted when the package arrived at my house, nutted even harder when I saw the picture quality of this. This monitor is a bargain for $220 (plus $30 shipping when I bought it), very satisfied with the monitor.

Had to get a replacement monitor as my previous one broke, luckily I found the exact one on Amazon. I’ve been very satisfied with this monitor which is why I sought it out again. It has great image quality and a decent size for my liking as well. My only caveat is that not all monitors are equally color calibrated! That applies to the same model too. So be prepared if you have to go in and manually tinker with color settings. Other than that, great purchase.

I love this monitor. The only thing that was frustrating with it in the initial set up was my PC was set at 60hz refresh rate and that would result in no image being displayed on the new monitor. Make sure your card can run at least 120hz refresh rate before you purchase this. Thankfully mine could.

This was great for gaming while it lasted. Unfortunately my son cracked the led in this monitor and you can not buy replacement parts for it so instead of fixing it I am going to have to throw it away. Customer service told me that it would cost the same price to fix it as it would to purchase a new monitor. So i will buy a new monitor it just wont be another Msi brand.

I already own the MSI Apache laptop So this was a no- brainer when I needed a monitor for the CyberPowerPC desktop. Great refresh rate, no scaling. Perfect Christmas present. Great price and MSI always carries a great warranty.

Didn’t end up with any pixel issues. Only con I have is the mounting for it, I just propped it up and it is good to go.

I like the way it looks on my gaming setup, the viewpoints are amazing, I love the on screen sights they added, and for this price I couldnt beat it. The thing I would like is a little thicker stand because I feel like Im a break it off if I tilt it forward to put in a cord in the back of it

I got this on sale and honestly for gaming it has the full 144hz, the curved display is great, I did run into issues on how to set it up BUT it was me not knowing what I was doing. There are various modes that you can switch to which I’d great for different circumstances. Overall 10/10 monitor for the price.
