> 3 dayI was looking for a monitor for on the go- for my Switch, and I think I found what I needed! The manual says that you can connect the original switch charger and connect the switch to the monitor. It didn’t work for me but im using a 5V- 2A phone charger and it works well. (It’s usually for Android phones) I connect the USB to the charger and the USB-c to the monitor and my switch to the monitor using usb-c to usb-c and I’m all set. I actually PREFER using the phone charger than my original switch brick- it’s lighter and I don’t want to lose it when I’m out. I’m glad they provide 3 cables in the box too! I used a power brick to power up the monitor and use it with my switch and it worked flawlessly! The thing that caught me off guard and surprised my was connecting my android phone with a usb-c connector to the monitor and it turned into a desktop-like experience- MY PHONE powered up the monitor- no other power supply. So weird but good- and who’s knows how this option can be further explored. Oh yeah…The image quality is very good too! The colors are a not OLED quality but they’re pretty good. I tried the HDR option, but you really have to move the buttons around to get an image you want. Overall I’d say it’s a good buy!

> 3 dayIt is very portable. Ive used it with a laptop, steam deck with a dock, and a Nintendo switch. Its worked smoothly and easily with each. I keep the usb 3.0-> USBC cable and HDMI cable that came with the monitor bound together, and I let my devices power the monitor. The buttons on the monitor feel a little weird, but its nice that it has built-in speakers, and I havent had any issues after two long trips carrying it around in a backpack.

> 3 dayIt worked fine for a little less than 2 weeks and then it started to claim No Signal and goes into power saving mode. I set it up carefully on its permanent spot on my desk and it just refused to acknowledge signal. Tried it with multiple cables, computers, and nothing. UPDATE 5/1/2023: I was able to contact the email for MNN to troubleshoot the issue. After running through all options I decided to return the monitor for a replacement (electronics do fail- hopefully this is a fluke). I am awaiting the replacement of the same model. The new 3 star review is for the so-far wonderful customer support from MNNs Gloria and Amy. If this one works fine Ill be ok with bumping up the review. UPDATE 5/12/2023: Second monitor wasnt working initially until I made a couple of power cycles on my Lenovo Slim 7 Pro X and now works fine. It COULD have been user error with the laptops software not liking hot-swapping with two internal graphic card options on this model. Im bumping up the review to four stars, as its still not as bright as I was hoping for and seems slow to respond but I received EXCELLENT customer care from MNN.

> 3 dayI hate when people say its great for the price. The price was great and the picture is ok without any display hiccups. However, theres a few things that could have made this a great buy. 1) The display brightness is less than desirable. Its dim, even with the brightness turned all the way up. Its ok but give me 100 to 200 more nits. 2) The best way to put this is the speakers are horrible. I mean total garbage. Its a portable monitor so why not make the speaker good enough not to need speakers. What good is a remote monitor if you need to carry speakers? Sure you could use a headphone or ear buds. But again just make the speaker at least adequate. I would even work with blue tooth enabled. 3) You cant use the speakers from the laptop if youre using this monitor. Or at least I havent found a way to do so. So Im not going to say this monitor is good for the price. Im going to say if youre ok with the areas this monitor falls short then go for it. Or pay more for a monitor that will not have these challenges.

> 3 dayI need a second monitor for work and now it is easier for me to work anywhere now that I have this MNN monitor. I like that all I need is one USB-C cable and not an extra power supply. I dont need to sit near a plug to have a second screen. The magnetic case that doubles as a stand is a great way to pack it in my backpack. Overall I am very pleased with my purchase.

> 3 dayI purchased this monitor when we returned to the office because everyone was figuring out where they would sit again and finding equipment around the office to fit your laptop was challenging. Rather than working just from my laptop screen (I’m used to two monitors when working at home) I purchased this portable monitor. It’s light, the display is nice, and it’s easy to set up! I’ve been more than thrilled with it. I still use it when I go into the office (even with having more equipment set up there now). I also use it when I can work outside and enjoy days with nice weather. Very pleased with this purchase! I’ve had it for about a month now and it gets used at least 3 days a week.

Greater than one weekI dont even know how Ive been productive on any level without owning one of these before. I travel a lot and work on the road in hotel rooms and/or our camper all the time. This is an absolute game changer. Dead simple to set up (just plug it in) and boom! Youve got an extra screen. Display is lovely (vivid colors) and its so slim and light youll take it everywhere. Recommend getting a zip-up sleeve or case for it. I am in love with this product.

> 3 dayThe MNN Portable Monitor is so colorful and vibrant once it’s paired up with a device of your choosing. I’ve used it with my Nintendo switch and my laptop and haven’t run into any problems. The default settings are already great, but I turned up the brightness a bit for the best clarity. Video games are very responsive and crystal clear. I’m enjoying it thus far, looking forward to a 4k variant for my current gen consoles. The screen size is large, the included foldable stand is handy and sturdy. Audio is clear and loud. And you can connect headphones if you desire, it’s perfect for work and play.

> 3 dayI got it set up in minutes after opening the package. Right now I am using it as a second display for my desktop setup, and intend to take it to school for a laptop extension as well. The magnetic cover is convenient, and the vesa mount support will come in handy for using it as a vertical side piece when I get my monitor arm setup. So far I find the brightness to be comfortable and easily adjustable.

> 3 dayI needed an extra monitor for travel and for when I work from home. This one is perfect. My kids even borrow it from time to time to use with their Switch and other gaming systems. I used my MacBook Pro with it. No issues with connecting. It needs a power source - doesnt have a battery - which is fine, it uses the power from my MacBook or my kids plug it in when they use it for gaming.
