> 3 dayIm writing this prior to taking this out on its first outing for its intended purpose, cycling. I have taken it on a mile walk to try it out for fit and carry-ability. Taking into account its price range, this is a reasonably well-executed product that is hampered by poor design choices. First, lets look at the good points. I did not receive a pack with a leaky bladder. The construction of the pack is far better than I would expect to find in this price range-no fraying seams, everything hot cut or welted. Decent zippers. Second, the meh points. The padding in the straps isnt great. Dont plan on carry much weight besides your water load. The pack has enough room to carry a lightweight rain suit, some trail bars and a few odds and ends. Stick to that. The insulation for the water is a layer of reinforced foil material. I dont think its going to tear, but Im not sure how well its going to keep it cold. A layer of something behind it, like a thin high density foam, would have been a big plus. One strap has an elastic keeper to help keep excess strap length in place, but the rest dont. Oversight? Misfeature? Inquiring minds want to know. I can address this myself, but I shouldnt have to. Third, the bad. I read a review that said that this pack wasnt designed for short people. Well, it isnt designed for people of average height, either. Im 510, and I have to let the shoulder straps completely out to get the waist belt close to my waist. Realistically, the waist belt is going to be useless to me, and Ill probably tie it out of my way. This should not be the case. Even if the product is Made in China, youre selling into the American market. Size accordingly. Speaking of the straps, the strap material is narrow, 1. It should be more substantial. The bladder is a lightweight vinyl. Youll need to pay attention when handling to avoid punctures. Fortunately, if you get a puncture, replacements are cheap. This hydration packs best use is for the occasional user who is 50 - 57 in height. Even with the construction, it is not going to stand up to the rigors of frequent use. However, probably long you reach the point where things begin to give out, youll find the design flaws aggravating enough that youll give up using it and buy a better hydration pack. Im going to keep mine, since I will be an occasional user. I can secure the waist belt out of my way, and I dont think Ill miss it on a bike. However, I wouldnt buy another one if I managed to wear this one out.

> 3 dayMuch better quality than I expected from Amazon. It’s strong and just the right size for day trips in hot weather. I did feel like it was physically small straps- the hip straps were too high. I’m only 5’7”.
