The um690 has a bad reputation of over heating and crashing from bad memory. Support has started giving me the run around even though this is a wide spread problem in their discord support. I just replaced the ram and its been stable for 24 hours, which is the longest its ever ran without crashing. I personally wouldnt recommend buying anything from minisforum unless you dont care about getting any support.

Pros:

This little thing is a power house. Worked perfectly right out the box. Mounts to my monitor properly.

The USB-C in the back is the power supply port (19v) with support the monitor for the 4th monitor. But it WILL NOT work if you don`t have the SPECIAL DOCK.

I bought an HX99G on pre-order when it first was announced. I had a few hiccups from the video card the first week (it paused and reset without a crash). I updated the AMD software, and it has been rock solid for a couple months.

This was my first mini computer purchase. I have to say I am both surprised and delighted. easiest computer I ever set up. And Ive done many. Very fast. no issues whatsoever. Liked it so much bought another.

This Mini Computer is super quiet, and it puts out incredible graphics! Very satisfied

This little pc is a beast at 1080p. Very happy with my purchase. It shipped fast and was well packaged.

I added 2x 2TB SSD SATA 3.5 drives instead of the HDDs. They work perfectly. I have all my info on this baby and reference it remotely from my laptop which syncs all my data files. It travels with me when I go south for the winter whereas before, I had to duplicate my data in order to have access.

I purchased this machine to deploy in an office setting to run dual monitors for light office tasks and cloud based computing. Form factor is perfect and the employee loved the machine. Until she started getting completely blank green screens on both monitors. I updated all driver, did all of my normal checks, replaced HDMI cables, and ensured nothing was overheating. Several days later it started occurring again. I increased the frame buffer size and after an hour they received another green screen. Im not sure what the issue could be other than faulty hardware. I would love the machine... if it worked consistently.
