I bought these lights about a month ago and thought, these will be cute as I chill in my office. Well, the office is a big vibe but the lights arent. The lights turn off or being to malfunction on the color red when they are on longer than an hour. I switched batteries, changed their orientation, and even returned the original light set with no avail. And now I am writing a review trying to spare any soul from buying these lights. I hate writing reviews but I felt this one in my shondo.

These lights have an auto shut off option of 4 or 8 hours. Many different lighting patterns and colors. I was able to wrap these wires around suction cup hooks on my windows and I plan on leaving them up all year long and just changing the colors to match the different holidays. You need to hold the remote very close to the plug ins. Both my strings are plugged into the same outlet so I can control both at once. There is also a button on the plug to change options. The lights are a flat circular shape. I was impressed with what I received for the price and probably will buy some for my other front windows.

These lights were pretty and perfect for my DIY Nautical Bathroom idea, until I had to change out the batteries for the first time. Then, it would work for a few min, then turn itself off or when I chose the 6 Hr timer function, it would blink a couple times then completely shut off. I even tried more than 1 brand new, unopened set just in case the previous set was just defective. No such luck. After 2 days of trying different things I finally decided to ask for a replacement. Wouldnt you know, it was 1 week past the return window. So, no opportunity to contact seller and attempt to rectify the issue. So bummed. Time to search for another similar set elsewhere

Doesnt work as they should, replaced with brand new batteries for the lights and remote but all they do is a low light rapidly blinking so they are a waste of money only lasted about 5 weeks and only turning them on about a dozen times so I cant get a refund or exchange so buyer beware just some Chinese made junk thats going into the trash can

I got these along with some battery operated candles. I have not changed the batteries in the candles, but I have gone through 15 AA batteries in these string lights. The remote is also impractical in that it has black printing on dark grey buttons. Impossible to see in low light. Nice color, and several (4) program settings make me not return them. I wonder if other similar light sets would be so hard on batteries. Maybe Ill get another set to compare.

These things are bad ass ! I got my son some for Christmas and after putting them up for him I immediately order myself some!

These lights ate truly outsoor lights and have a real waterproof battery case. Light color was great too. Unfortunately something was wrong with my remote so I returned them but still wanted to gove a good review for a good quality light.

The remote battery compartment is difficult to work, and it doesnt work anyway! Same thing happened last year

These lights don’t work! When we travel, I always bring a strand of fairy lights to decorate our hotel room. We are currently in Vegas and I brought this strand with us. I used these for the very first time and they did not work. They operate with two buttons - one to change the color, the other to change the mode. Simple, right? But right from the start, neither one worked. Pressing mode would change color or would not respond at all, pressing color would change mode then it would be impossible to get back to the color you wanted. There is no rhyme or reason to how the buttons work. After attempting to use them a couple times they settled on red, super fast flashing and no button pushing will change it - they are stuck on that exclusively. I took the brand new batteries out and changed them but that did no good; they are stuck on seizure inducing, uber fast red flashing and will not change. Ended up throwing them out.

I got these lights thinking that they would be like candles and Christmas lights that Ive owned in the past that come on for 6 or 8 hours, go off and then come on again at the same time the next day. These dont do that. The timer is just a timer to shut the lights off - they dont come back on the next day. That being said, the lights are very pretty! I got them to complement my sweet baby, Usagi, and they look great! Im happy with them, theyre just not as convenient as I thought they would be.
