Microsoft Surface Laptop 3 – 13.5 Touch-Screen – Intel Core i7 - 16GB Memory – 1TB Solid State Drive – Matte Black

I bought the matte black 13.5 inch, i5 with 256gb of storage, 8gb of RAM from Best Buy. $200 off on a sale for a new laptop was pretty attractive.

It died dead on me in One year and 15 days

Battery life is lousy. Started flickering for no reason, cannot return because the shipping would cost more than the product. Microsoft wont be responsible if you are outside of the US

I have had this computer for about a year, using it all day every work day. In general, its technical performance has been very good (better I would say than the many MacBook Airs I owned before). It handles many large applications and browser windows being open at once.

Bought this as my previous laptop decided to die before my last semester of nursing school. When I was looking into buying laptops, I did a lot of research and was leaning towards a MacBook Pro but couldn’t justify the cost for what the hardware would be offering. Plus limited gaming ability and while I’m familiar with how a Mac operates, I’m most comfortable with windows.

Microsoft Surface Laptop 3 – 13.5 Touch-Screen – Intel Core i7 – 16GB Memory - 256GB Solid State Drive (Latest Model) – Sandstone is an excellent choice if you are looking for a lightweight and powerful laptop. I love the large track pad and the easy use of the keyboard. The screen quality is outstanding. The stereo speakers have an excellent sound (in my opinion much better than my MacBook). The i7 Processor allows for quick response time.

Extremely light and fast processor.

Gets 2 to 3 hours of battery life and is already hanging up when switching apps (specifically MW teams and PowerPoint) after a month old. Cannot play civilization 6 without getting so hot you can’t hold the laptop for long. Ridiculous charger configuration that falls out easily.

This model has well known screen issue which may crack by itself for no reason. Google Surface book hair crack and you will see tons of repots on this issue.

Good for school. Fast and efficient!
