> 3 dayWorks well and really helps get the swr down to a reasonable level, protecting the finals in your transmitter. Small and compact. Good for the Go kit. This price is more than double than the MSRP.

> 3 dayThis is the only tuner Ive ever used, so I dont have anything to compare it to. However, I can say that it works great and does exactly what you need it to. Im able to tune my 17m half-wave dipole to all sorts of other bands at an SWR of 1.3:1 or lower. Im impressed. The build quality is nice, too. The chassis is fully metal, the knobs have a nice click and heavy feel. Theres a light behind the meter which you can hook up to your power supply if you wish. I did, and it gives off a nice incandescent glow.

> 3 dayI had this in the 90s when I was into CB Radio. It worked beautifully, but it didnt have the bypass switch then. With this and my RCI2950 radio I got all kinds of contacts. I had a full wave square copper loop antenna I built for about $50, which was 8 feet or so on a side. The MFJ tuner helped me fine tune the antenna, and I worked all up and down the east coast, into Canada, and even made a few contacts in Europe, all on 8 watts. So its not just for Hams, if you have a CB and want to talk long distance, this tuner will help you out. Now that Im getting my Tech and General license for Amateur Radio, Ill be buying another one, because I sold my original a long time ago.

> 3 dayI have had this tuner for about 25 years now. Was surprised to find it on Amazon, still in production. I can certainly vouch for its longevity. It is still in my ham station, matching my IC-7300 transceiver to a non-resonant wire antenna. The small size allows it to sit on top of the rather compact radio. Over the years Ive used it with a variety of antennas, including the notoriously difficult-to-match G5RV. Never found anything it wouldnt match perfectly. For anyone who doesnt mind twisting knobs and can live without the convenience of an automatic tuner, Id definitely recommend this little device. Picture: After all this time I finally decided to change the knobs. Looks much better, especially with the Icom radio.

> 3 dayNot a bad little tuner and its at a good price. Im only giving it 4 stars because the display size is hard to read and it is very very sensitive to adjustment. I like it however I will be upgrading from this unit in the near future.

30-10-2024This is a great tuner and works well with a NanoVNA allowing me to set SWR to 1:1 on my preferred group of channels. It arrived sooner than projected. The reason i am giving a 3 star is because the device i received didnt appear to be new as there is a screw missing from the bottom which holds the now loose side panel in place and it isnt in the packaging.

> 3 dayBe sure to open it and inspect. I found a solder joint and part of the coil touching on mine but other than that it does the job. Been using it for over a year and have been tuning my 6BTV just fine!
