MFJ Enterprises Original MFJ-913 Balun 4:1 Current 300 Watts

Simple device, works great, with a manual control antenna tuner I am able to get SWR in a range from 80 to 17 m with a 40 m wire dipole antenna in the attic.

I cant really review this product since its sitting in my electronics junk box (term used for parts bin in amateur radio). I will eventually use with some antenna building project and after several months usage give and updated report.

It does what it is supposed do!. used it for a multi-band home brew dipole.

Matching 450 ohm ladder line into a short length of coax for use with an auto tuner. Works great with a 160 meter dipole. Should have done this years ago.

I have used several MFJ items and they are all quality items.

Not good quality. Limited range of frequencies.

Balun works fine with my 80-10 OCF Windom antenna.

Works as expected on an attic mounted OCF dipole. Though stuffing 135ft of wire into an average size attic doesnt happen without a fight, and the requisite SWR is pretty high on bands the antenna should be resonant on.
