> 3 dayI bought it in the hopes that come spring, and the snow is gone, Ill also get to put up my 80 to 10 meter antenna bought through Amazon. The antenna along with the tuner should prove to be a welcome addition to my shortwave radio shack.

> 3 dayI bought this as additional tuner to my MFJ971 which is a great little tuner. The 941E has a difficult time tuning everything the 971 does and IM not sure wise. I would not buy the 941E again.

Greater than one weekI have a compromised location, so I have the antennas I can have, not what I really wanted. This antenna tuner allows me to work on all the bands and it does this well. Unit arrived well packaged - everything included. Checked tightness control knobs and shafts.....all looks good.

> 3 dayIt takes a couple of minutes to get it calibrated but it is not difficult if you follow the proper procedure. Usually an acceptable SWR is close without even keying the mic and the carrier is only used to fine tune to its lowest point. Dont expect it to solve big antenna issues (using a metal broom handle on 20 meters) but it will resolve many out of band SWR issues. Remember that it is simply fooling and protecting the transceiver but not actually solving the antenna mismatch.

> 3 dayThis is a nice antenna tuner that must have missed the QC step or it was made late Friday afternoon. The box has a switch to connect the transmitter to a 50 ohm dummy load or various antennas. The switch has two dummy load position. One of them ( the tuner in line position) did not work even after repeated switch flips . Minor point but the antenna switch is uncomfortably hard to throw. MFJ can do better than this. Im going to get another one but check it out thoroughly...possible take the cover off and give it a good visual and ohm check before I harm my Transmitter.
