There is no piece of luggage that comes close to Tumi quality and stability in handling. But, I think this is the best piece yet. I travel a lot and its not unusual to take over 75 flights a year. And I will travel for months at a time, with a variety of climates, terrain and clothing options. I like my dresses/skirts with sandals for the tropics, and pants/hiking boots for trekking or cooler climes. The outside compartment system is different from the usual and can comfortably fit books, drawing materials, lots of vitamin supplements/emergency kit + all the tech/hiking/beach gear. Inside there is a compartment for boots/sandals/shoes and a separate one for lingerie,hats + athletic clothing + lots of personal care items. The main area is for clothing (flat + rolled). I travel with only 1 PIECE OF LUGGAGE, period. I use a Baggallini crossbody that holds my Macbook+headset, medication, simple jewelry, crossword puzzle book, itineraries, currencies + cosmetics and my secret for staying always fresh + comfy: extra undies/tee shirt and a Balinese cotton ikat sarong. Tumi even included a TSA lock and ID holder. Love the colors, finishes and the very easy buckle straps to hold contents in place. This is a taller size, with thinner compartments that allows greater visibility of clothing and other contents. It allows me to dress well, combining different elements depending on the climate, culture and the whimsy of the day.

The handle was to thin and wabbled. The size of the luggage needed. More thicker and sturdier handle.
