> 24 hourI initially reported that the mounting screws didnt fit, and contacted support, and in the mean time figured out how to use the mounting screws. It would be nice if they included instructions for it.

> 24 hourThis has been a great addition to run my home automation and services. I keep loading it with more services but the new CPU just keeps taking the load!

> 24 hourI bought this based upon recommendations from Patriot Astro to create a good astrophotography PC. The big advantage over the other mini pcs i have tried (other than the NUC) is that you can easily get into the bios and set it up to restart on power loss (not possible on my beelink, minus forum, trigkey pcs to the best of my knowledge). This is huge for any situation that you may want to leave it unattended (remote observatory). It does run very hot as there is virtually nothing to dissipate the heat. As my set up doesnt really require the smallest PC, i ended up adding a cheap aluminum heat sink to the top of it and taped it on with some thermal adhesive tape. Im curious how this will hold up on extended use, but they are pretty inexpensive (compared to a NUC) and worth it for the bios feature alone.

> 24 hourIve had the MeLE 3Q for a couple weeks now and Im impressed with how reliably it works and the more than adequate performance for streaming TV. Setup only took an hour or so to cover config and online OS updates etc. just needed to find a wired keyboard for that. I then used the Logitech K400 keyboard, and it worked straight away (great value for money on that one). I use VPN and then TV streaming using browser to get international programs and it works a treat. Its always on, always there and so far has worked flawlesly. Ive also added a heatsink to rest on top but dont think it was totally necessary. I did it as the MeLE is used inside a home theatre cabinet. Totally happy with it.

> 24 hourI bought the MeLE Quieter3Q (N5105 processor, 8GB RAM and 128 GB eMMC drive) to control my astrophotography gear: telescope mount, 12v power distribution box/USB hub, DSLR camera and guide camera. I installed N.I.N.A., PHD2, Stellarium, Sharp Cap, several ASCOM drivers and an application to control the power distribution box/USB hub.

> 24 hourWeve purchased about 25 of these so far and have had no issues to date. Theyre fanless, small, and silent. What are they good for? They make for a decent general purpose industrial pc (fanless is important for keeping the dust out) or a basic office PC for regular use. They can also be used as light duty dedicated servers. Dont expect to game on them or do heavy video editing, but most everything else they can handle with flying colors. Quieter3Q are a decent bit faster than the older Quieter2 models, in my testing Ive seen about a 30% performance increase. I think overall theyre on the right track with this product line, I hope they keep developing it while sticking to the fanless design. Improvements Id like to see in the future are dual channel memory and models with NVMe by default in place of eMMC.

> 24 hourWhile this PC has its uses, it also has a few limitations. The design should be modified to allow for an internal 2.5 hard drive to start, as this will allow you to attach the drive in a secure fashion instead of hanging it from a USB cable. While one may want to swap the memory, it is not a typical desire in this type of usage case. This is a fast little box that just needs a monitor/TV, keyboard, mouse, network connection, and power to do many different dedicated jobs. Is it a full blown desktop replacement? No, but it can browse the web in a pinch. Is it a server? No, but it can run Home Assistant, VPN, NTP, and PiHole.
