I am so in love with this coagulated blood gel! Ive used two other brands of runny, basic blood and those are great for fresh, flowing blood but the Mehron Coagulated Blood Gel is FANTASTIC for coating the inside of an open wound! It stays exactly where you put it and doesnt run or drip at all unless you use a ton of it. In the attached picture I used the coagulated gel for inside the wound and regular blood for the drippy parts running down from the wound. The coagulated blood is a perfect shade and texture for thick, clotted blood.

Very sticky a little hard to get off but nice

Used to create zombie look, used on forehead, cheek and lips. Dried amazingly stayed fresh looking all night. Color was very believable, this was my first time attempting zombie make-up and this product was extremely easy to use and wiped off easy with a make-up wipe

I personally think this is a good deal for fake blood, but then again, Ive never purchased fake blood before. It is really easy to apply with a brush and it didnt stain the brush I used!! It came off easily with water (and soap, when it was necessary). The only issue I had with it was that it is very very sticky and easily smears. I expected it to dry somewhat, but that didnt happen for me. That may be an issue for those of you looking for fake blood to use on hands or other parts of the body where it will bump into things. I recommend it for facial/neck/chest sfx or other places where it will not be bumped or smeared.

I’ve used this product for a couple years and love it!!!! It is a messy substance if you’re not careful. Once the coagulated blood dries be careful because if it gets wet then it will run…Other than that, I use it on ALL of my props as it just enhances everything to make it more realistic. I have even applied this on pumpkins with sharp plastic teeth eating a hand (no pic, sorry). A little bit goes a long way with one jar. Just make sure you take your time when applying this. If you make a mistake when applying this, a simple damp cloth will wipe it away instantly. I already recommend this product to all of my friends!!!!

This blood was great to work with. Its texture is thick , and it dries after a while. Please remember to be careful when using this product, as it can stain plastic counters , tubs, and skin. Overall, I loved this SFX Blood and would most definitely recommend it!

I used this product to add some gore to a cosplay item I was working on. I wanted to give something an old wound look to it, but not be too runny as it was going to be in some fake fur. The product is EXTREMELY thick, like molasses. Applying it is somewhat difficult at first but you will quickly get the hang of it. The one thing I did not realize is that it will take an EXTREMELY long time to dry. This is good if youre doing something that is SFX and want it to appear still wet and fresh, but if youre looking for something longer term you might want to try a different product. I was able to get a semi-dry state that was still a bit tacky after a week and a half with a very thin layer. It got the job done! my experience is most likely more from the lack of knowledge on my part rather than the product itself. Mehron continues to impress!
