> 3 dayThe pack is great - just the right size, fits the bladder perfectly, a good balance between durability and light weight. The compartments are great - just the right size. The bladder is a disaster. Mine has a horrible, acrid, chemical taste and smell. I have washed and dried it half a dozen times. I followed the instructions in the condescending (but ultimately unhelpful) review entitled How to Adult and used a few drops of Dawn swished around and run through the system. I did this twice. I even thought that leaving it in a hot environment might induce the plasticizer or mold release or whatever to leach out faster. None of this worked, despite an investment of 30 minutes or more over several days. It still smells and tastes very acrid, making me think the plastic bladder did not fully cure, or that there is mold release or plasticizer migration. Whatever it is, multiple wash and dry cycles did not reduce the smell and taste. I will be substituting a Camelbak bladder for the one that came with this. But the pack itself is excellent and a fraction of the price for name brand 3L packs.

> 3 dayPro: Fits great and material of the bag are made with great quality especially the extra pocket is a plus! Con: the hose need a couple cleaning to get rid of bitter taste. The water bag took 2 cleaning with cleaning tablet. I would recommend this bag from MARCHWAY!

> 3 dayI am impressed by this hydration system, its comfortable, its well made, and the bladder and hose are good quality. You have decent storage in the pack itself, for various things. Nice padding on the straps, it is easy to wear.

Greater than one weekGot it for my brother in law, when he goes hiking in the woods looking for Bigfoot. The pak looks really nice, larger than I expected. Hopefully it can keep him hydrated and get him home safe, or not.

> 3 dayIve had the other brand for years and it has served me well, but those are expensive and I was looking for something with pockets/pouches and enough water to last all day. This one has impressed me in every way. The water storage is designed well so it doesnt stick out too far when youre trying to load it into the pack or while wearing it on your back. There are plenty of pockets and storage space, which is fantastic. Im able to fit two slender packs of peanuts, a couple granola bars, a hand towel, a rain poncho, and a travel sized sunscreen and hand sanitizer into this without having to squish everything together to get the zippers to close. I can even fit a small umbrella on the outside under the big clip when needed. The pads do keep the pack off your back enough to allow some airflow, however you may still get sweaty where the pads touch your body. There is a buckle across the chest and around the waist to keep the pack secure while you move around. My old one didnt have the waist clip, which was unhelpful. I also like how the tube is insulated to help keep the water a little cooler between drinks. I have noticed when you drain the tube between drinks, the water does taste a little funny when you go to drink again. To avoid that, I keep the water in the tube instead of letting it drain back down... it does help with the taste. Im not sure why it does that, but something to keep in mind. I also LOVE that the mouthpiece has a cover to keep it clean. Great idea! I also like the valve system to keep water in the bladder if the tube is removed. The only way I would see of improving this would be the ability to change which side you keep the tube on. The clip for keeping it from wagging around is only on the left side and isnt designed to be removed. Id prefer to have it on the right. Its not a big deal, just a personal preference. Overall Im very happy with this one!

> 3 dayExcellent design, and sufficiently insulated that your back wont warm up the water bottle on a long hike.
