Pros: Malwarebytes is now a subscription-based software product, and is my go-to first line defender to keep my personal laptop free of malware, ransomware and viruses. Bad actors abound and can infect your PC from the invaders lurking on innocent websites like MSN, Yahoo, and others! The basic websites are fine, but their advertisers are NOT!! Many of the articles you click on are carrying malware! I love and trust Malwarebytes, so much so that before I retired, I deployed it across our 30-pc business network and NEVER had any issues, even with users that violated company policy constantly visiting dangerous websites. Thats because Malwarebytes is real time protection that stops bad stuff from even getting in. I have my scans set to run once a week (they run daily by default). I recommend this product heartily.

This used to be lifetime license. Now the price is just too high, they had some deals last year but the deals this Christmas are too expensive. I will no longer use them until it comes down to 8 dollars a year for one PC. I had 3 pcs licensed for this last year and just got finished uninstalling it on all three computers.

Neighbor needed a new subscription, and this 18 month card worked.

I got a deal on a two license version during a “Black Friday Sale”. Over a year ago. Got a notice from Malware Bytes to renew this year, but it was $20 more than buying a new license here. Plus, this new license is for 18 months instead of 12!

Ive been using Malwarebytes for years and just renewed my subscription. It does a great job and was also recommended by my computer repair store.

I ordered this software and loaded it on the first computer with no problems. When I loaded on the second computer it would not install completely. I contacted Malwarebytes technical support for help. They had me install their diagnostic program, which I did. Their automated response (via email) said they received my diagnostic log and they would be contacting me shortly with a solution. Now nearly two weeks later I still have not received a solution. I have contacted them several times with still no response.
