> 3 daySuper bright, versatile light - great for painting, lighting up a crawl space or construction. With two batteries it’s heavy, but with that comes stability. I like that you can also plug this light into an outlet. I looked at the 40v version, but you can’t plug it in - it’s battery only. I generally don’t use the light on full power for extended periods so battery life has been good. For me this light has been great.

> 3 dayIts a strobe light. Turn it half power and you will see flicker when making video or photos. Its heavy. 110v plug an battery operated.

> 3 dayVery Bright, Very Handy, Yes Pricey, BUT.. If your vested in the 18v system and you need a light dont think twice. Even Great for working on vehicles.. Instead of just getting that trouble light in that perfect position just set this light up and your well lite!

> 3 dayVery high quality. The brightness is insane! I love the cordless capability and have no complaints with it at all. Bought (2) for my construction company and they hold up very well.

> 3 dayOn occasion it will overheat and kick the brightness down. Thank goodness I have 10 batteries it burns through them. All in all its basically portable daylight, I am satisfied.

> 3 dayI use this in construction. It uses batteries quick. But the brightness is well worth it to me. It is super super bright. I love it.

> 3 dayThis light has some serious lumens to it. Using this to light up a breaker panel while shutting the electricity off to the house was like having the room lit like it normally was. On the highest setting there is a fan that will kick on to dissipate the heat but its a small inconvenience and not too loud. The light could improve in that the batteries could be charged off the included ac cable but Makita doesnt seem to do this with any of their battery/corded products for some reason. The price is the higher end of what a similar light would go for but its part of the Makita ecosystem and is backed by Makita quality control
