> 24 hourI just received this labeler and being using it like crazy. Let me tell you something upfront: dont try to use the interface unless you are in a hurry and want to print a simple label, it is difficult and slow to use. You should install the app, there you can do lots of things: play with text placement, add images, create barcodes and QR codes. It takes 3 tape sizes: 9mm, 12mm and 16mm. It comes with a white 16mm tape, which since is thermal is waterproof. It is charged by an USB-C port so you wont need to be replacing batteries. I would like to have is wider tape, but so far 16mm is good. The printer can store labels to be printed later. That feature is also in the app, but something missing is that you cannot create labels in the app and store them in the labeler, so later you can print them without the phone. If the label is stored in the phone you have to use the phone to print. Maybe they can add that feature in the app in the future.

> 24 hourWe have lots of label makers, but none that would do barcodes. This is great for just pulling out and making a label with the built in keypad, but we really love that you can save print jobs to it so you dont have to type out the same things (in our case barcodes) over and over again. We also like the labels are just a bare roll of paper and dont have a plastic housing. The app was rated 2.3 stars on the play store, but we found it to work well enough and quickly threw together the barcode label without any research or instructions. We doubt there is a way to integrate this in with an ERP or logistics system, but we are going to see if we can figure that out. As long as refills are available for this we feel it works at a 5 star level.

> 24 hourI hated our old-fashion gun-style label maker. It was annoying to use so ended up collecting dust until I finally threw it away. THIS ONE, however, is easy, quick, and fun to use. Was surprised it came already charged and label roll loaded. Did check the instructions and learned to hold down the button 2 seconds to turn the unit on and off. Also read what the proper alignment was printing labels. Other than those things this is easy to figure out how to use. I did double check to make sure some extra labels I bought fit this unit. No problem. Excuse my slightly crooked printed label. Pretty sure I didnt align right after checking inserting a new roll.

> 24 hourIve been wanting a label maker/printer for some time now. I wasnt sure if I wanted one with an app or not - the keyboard on this seems to work well, and i was able to print out some labels for things in my home that desperately needed them. The LCD screen is bright and easy to read and the print quality seems to be really nice.

> 24 hourFirst, I want to say I REALLY like this label maker from MakeID and I recommend it. One of the first things you notice is that it has a really nice look to it: it is ‘clean’, to use an overused phrase. The LCD screen is big and bright and much better than my other “big name” label makers. The buttons have a nice feel to them and typing on it isn’t too bad. The label maker is a little complicated to use right out of the box; the instruction guide provided isn’t bad but is very simple and I wish it had a little more examples of what you get with what settings: but for the most part you can figure this out by just playing with it (by the way, the app is the way to go, see below). It prints nice looking, clean labels quickly. Some really nice features: 1) it is rechargeable using a USB to USB-C cable (provided) which means it is lightweight and you don’t have to constantly change batteries like others; 2) you can print and cut a single label right after printing without any waste of label tape, unlike others where there is always a long blank lead and a long blank tail when you print a single label (my big name labeler seemed to waste about an inch of label tape per label…); 3) loading the label tape is as simple as dropping a roll in the bottom of the machine, and the rolls have about 13 feet of tape; 4) it is small and lightweight enough to take with you anywhere you might need it: garage, office, gym…; and 5) this label maker has built in bluetooth and can be controlled by an app on your phone. The app takes this label maker from OK to great and really makes it shine. There are some cons associated with this device, one I already mentioned: until you print you really don’t know how your label in size will look; I wish it had examples somewhere of this set of settings will give this, etc. The second is the label tape: it comes in limited colors and all I can find so far is the 16 mm wide tape (I was not able to find the 9 mm and 12 mm tapes). Apart from these, once you get the hang of this labeler it is a great find.

> 24 hourThis label maker is compact and convenient. Being rechargeable, I don’t have to worry about finding batteries or a power cord, I could just charge it up and it’s ready for use anywhere I need it. The label maker does have plenty of options for sizes, fonts, orientation of text and even special characters. It’s very similar to the “big name brand” but does it at a great price!

> 24 hourI got this for office labeling, and also labeling my personal items in a public facility. This label maker is pretty straightforward, type what you want and hit print. The USB c charging is great, as I dont need to waste batteries, the labels themselves are pretty basic so its easy to get more. The display is bright and easy to read, my only complaint is that you have poor spacing without a border, its like theres a space bar at the start of the label, making it not centered, the bordered ones are perfectly centered however. Overall easy to use and functional label maker.

> 24 hourBest label maker I’ve used by far. So easy to use. Easy to type and print. Easy to use the cutter. Bluetooth is easy to connect and use as is the app as well. It’s a great label maker that can do more than I would ever need.

> 24 hourIf you’re like me and you love labeling things then this label maker is definitely for you. It’s a sturdy and well made product. It’s so easy to use and get started. It prints beautifully. I love to open up my pantry and seeing how organized everything is because of a label. The labels adhere very nicely and remains on the item until you remove it. Love this!
