I use this multiple times but it seems like the first item I put in it was a much stronger vibration and I could actually see the water vibrating. After I did a few more items to test out how dirty my jewelry was, it seemed to not be as effective. I did end up purchasing jewelry cleaner instead of just having the unit clean in water and it seemed to work okay but just not very strong

I tried the unit by cleaning my electric shaver head [popped off the razor]. I ran the cleaner with soapy water four times in eight minute cycles, with ten minutes in between each cycle. Id say the razor head was 90% clean. This would be fine for small and delicate jewelry, but for tough items I think a larger, heavier duty cleaner would be better. Im going to keep this and buy a larger more industrial model as well. I do have some carburetor and other small parts to clean, but in my opinion this unit wont do it.

This machine totally surpassed my expectations and with just warm water and a couple drops of dish soap. I mainly purchased this for our Jewelry but tried my Eye Glasses and let me say even after several years, the Lenses look Brand New! Totally worth the price for that alone.

I ordered this product in the morning and received it by mid-afternoon. I read the set up instructions prior to use, including what I could and could not put in the cleaner. There were instructions for oxidized silver, but I know my silver, and I knew I would have to dip my silver jewelry in silver cleaner before submerging it in the cleaner water (I had to do the same thing with a few of my gold-plated chains as well because they don’t always respond to regular jewelry cleaner). I did have to do a bit of wrestling with some necklace chains that had gotten tangled to untangle them before submersion. I started with the 90-second cycle and worked my way up to the 480-second cycle (I noticed I got the best results with the 480-second cycle). My jewelry is now sparkling clean! (And I’m a lot less stressed than I would have been had I just used my jewelry cleaner containers as I was able to clean a lot more jewelry at one time!)

I ordered this on a whim as we were headed to an event that required my jewelry be cleaned. I love the size, it stores nicely in my bathroom cabinet. The basket holds quite a bit. I tried first cleaning with water only and wasnt getting the sparkle I wanted. I added a bit of Dawn dishsoap and WOW! What a difference! My silver pieces were quite dirty and took a few times through to get the result I wanted. It worked so good that my friend asked to borrow it after seeing how good my things looked. I also ordered one for my mom and she is very impressed with the results.

This unit arrived late on Saturday and Sunday morning I unpacked it and gave it a try. I could not stop putting jewelry in because everything came out so clean and sparkling. I recently lost a diamond in my ring and I had to take it to a jeweler to have the stone replaced. They also repaired the prongs, etc. When I picked it up, it was like having a new ring. So, I looked online so that I might keep my jewels looking like new. After ordering, I went back to the jeweler to pick up my diamond band that I had left for repairs. I talked with the jeweler about their cleaning and asked if they used ultrasound cleaning and she said that they did. So, I told her I had ordered a machine. She said that was good BUT she said, Be careful with your diamond jewelry because the vibrations can cause the diamonds to become loose. Only leave them in for short spurts. If you noticed, when I cleaned (your earrings), I did so in bursts. I told her I would be careful and she advised to not leave them in longer than thirty seconds at a time. But to take them out and use a brush to remove the debris. So, I only used 10 seconds on them in cold tap water and they came out great. Most of my items, and I cleaned one at a time, came out great with the 10 second scenario. The more stubborn ones, I added Dawn and kept trying, but they did not have stones of any kind. One bracelet ended up missing a stone, a tiny one, but I think it was missing beforehand. When I emptied the machine, I layered Bounty paper towels in the sink to strain the water so that if a stone was in it, I would detect it. There absolutely wasnt one. It is a very old bracelet that I purchased at an estate sale, and I have already replaced four missing stones. They are cheap rhinestones, but I love that bracelet.

I purchased this for my mothers Christmas gift. I had experience using the industrial versions and can say this works 90% as well. The first item I tested was on my moms metal watch band. I had to hold the watch itself (submerging the watch can damage it or break the water tight seal). The water began to turn grey then black removing all of the oils it had collected from her skin (quite disgustingly awesome to watch). I needed to eventually replace the water with clean water and run it through again. All that was needed is a bit of dishwashing liquid and water. I prefer heating some water in the microwave (add a bit of rubbing alcohol if you like as well to help cut the oils). Remember afterwards to clean the unit. Over time it will collect salt from the water where the metal pan meets the housing. I found the lid is really just there to cut down the noise. I preferred leaving it open as it would be one less thing to clean or collect residue. Next I dropped in a few rings and necklaces (silver and gold). It worked like a charm!! Simply rinse and wipe afterwards. I suggest using a toothbrush for stubborn areas such as intricate rings or areas where there is excessive buildup of grime. Avoid using on pearls. Be aware that jewelry with stone/diamond settings should be secure as this could cause them to loosen and fall out. So you want to check to make sure the jewels are still attached before dumping the water down your sink. This is not for fake/laminated/painted costume jewelry as it will make the coating come off. I used it on some glasses. You will be amazed how much grime they collect (about as much as the watch band). We use these in the optical business. They will not harm your lens coating. Your nose bad will become much cleaner as well…but if they are too green then have them replaced at an optical shop. I can tell you from experience that with glossy plastic frames that it can peel the glossy coating leaving places with a matte finish. There was one especially bad silver rope. It was more tarnished than dirty. Sure, this cleaned it. Just be aware that it isn’t designed to remove tarnish (you will need to polish tarnish by hand with a special cleaner & cloth after cleaning with this machine to remove tarnish). So needless to say the silver rope became clean but was still essentially black afterwards (yes it was genuine silver). I personally find it a joy watching items that you think couldn’t possibly be that full of grime create this cloud of nastiness. It makes me want to add fresh warm water and dawn and find what else to clean. My cell phone case? Sure! My grandpa’s nasty Case pocket knife? No problem!! Word of warning (again from experience)…it’s not going to harm you putting your fingers inside briefly. But don’t do for long to feel the tickle. It will pull out all of the natural oils from your skin causing extreme dryness and will make your nails brittle & crack. It can even rupture the capillaries in your finger tips making them red and bruised. *The unit is much smaller then appears in the photo. The opening is about the length of a pair of eyeglasses*

easy to use, great for cleaning eye glasses. It removes all of the oils and grime in the tight spots. 3 minutes and it is done. Sometimes I run it twice. Also very good for jewelry. Only downside is that it is one more appliance I must store between uses -- that said, it does a much better job than a cloth and small spray bottle of glass cleaner.

Works great, plugged it in and worked no problems. Does a pretty good job cleaning. I used it to clean my airbrush parts and Gundam parts. Super satisfied.
