MA-721 MA721 Original Comet Ham Radio Dual-Band Mobile Antenna with Magnet Base. Replaces M-24M and M-24S

Theae are great small antennas - I like them for travel or temporary use. They are compact and work great on both bands. The base has a protective layer on it to prevent damage to your rooftop. One caution - I have several older versions, and the current version has coax cable that is like hard plastic. I assume its a mostly PVC formula, which is VERY stiff, almost to the point of being unmanageable. Im almost afraid to bend it. However, it does the job and some creative stuffing of the cable between seats etc. will work. The cable IS a bit thinner than the usual RG-58 and goes through door edges and gaskets, but it can get crushed. Be careful routing from outside to inside.
