These stars are made of a lightweight plastic that is likely to shatter if they drop onto a hard surface. Good thing the suction cups are strong (at least on glass - didn’t try anywhere else). Each star is independent - is not connected to the others, and has its own power source. Each star takes 3 AAA batteries (not provided). TBD how long a set of batteries last - product page mentions “lows consumption “. They look really cute hanging in my front window. Had to look on the online product page to figure out how the timer works (since the user instructions in the box said nothing about it). There is a switch on the side with three positions: timer (on for 8 hours, off for 16 hours), continuously on, and off. There’s not a firm “click” between positions, so you really have to pay attention.

These are great for Memorial Day. They really added some much needed decorations to my windows. My biggest issue is that they take 3 AAAs EACH. Thats a whole lotta batteries. Id much rather have something that plugs in like my Christmas lights do. But other than that, they looked really nice and were bright enough for my needs.

Flags… of course, but these lights help you show your USA pride at night too. Easy to hang and hook up, these lights are a nice way to celebrate our country. Perfect for Memorial Day, Flag Day, 4th of July, Veteran’s Day, or every day

This set of starlights is very cute. My favorite strands are the red, white and blue stars that are three hanging. The other light is fine but personally, I do wish that the star was a solid color with maybe a different solid color inside with the little star. But that could just be me and my preference. Because it is fine with the different colored lights all in the same star but it’s a little bit hard to make out the star shape in your window. I mean you definitely get the gist especially when displayed along with the other stars, but personally again, I would prefer maybe like a red star inside of blue star. They stick to the windows fine, but I’m not sure how long they would really stay up for because humidity and heat can affect suction on the window. I also personally think it was an opportunity that was missed by having the round battery compartment not be shaped like a star. Because you can see white dots in your window, which are kind of big. So again, at least if it was shaped like a star, it would look like part of the decoration. Again, I think just an opportunity missed with the set.

These were ok but nothing as nice as I had hoped for. Have to manuelly turn them on and off. I bought 6 for the front windows and would have been. Ice if they were remote control.

This is a really nice holiday decoration. The suction cups hold really well to the window. Easy on and off switch perfect for hanging on windows or sliding glass doors. I like that they are battery operated so i dont have to find a plug for them.

This set of 3 lights will do great for the patriotic holidays. I will probably hang them from my window inside that can be seen from the street. I will try the suction cups that were provided and if those dont work, then I will use my own suction cups. There are 3 modes - off, constant, timer. I havent yet tested the timer option. Im not sure if it is a good thing or a bad thing that each of the stars is only one color. As far as measurements go, from the top of the hanger down to the bottom of the star is 18 inches. From the bottom of the hanger to the top of the star is 7.25 inches. Overall, I think that this set of stars is OK. I plugged in 3 AAA batteries into each of these decorations. Theres a hook as well as a suction cup that can be used. The switch as 3 settings - off, constant, and timer. Too bad that flashing isnt an option. These will work for any of the patriotic holidays. I will use it later this month and will update my review then. I used these on my railing at my cottage.They are great for a 4th of July decoration or anytime you want red, white and blue

I cant wait to use these for all of the upcoming patriotic holidays! I love stars and these red, white, and blue lights will be perfect in the windows!
