Lixit Chinchilla Dust (27oz)

Good stuff, just need to sweep it up. I love my 3 chinchillas, they take dust baths about 4x a month, but they do make a mess. However if you sweep up as soon as they are done bathing you will have no problem.

The Blue Cloud mine is having issues and its becoming difficult to find REAL Blue Cloud Dust. These are NOT Blue Cloud, they are Blue Beauty from some mine in Mexico. Look very closely at the label if you buy this item. Only one of the ten I bought was actually Blue Cloud. We returned the Blue Beauty ones. My chinnies do not want that crap!

I have used better products. This one is a little to fine for me.

This stuff doubles as bath and then litter for my hamster. He enjoys cleaning himself in it and I give him a fresh scoop everyday. Its the same quality stuff that I buy at the local big pet store only a lot cheaper!

I love this dust! I have never had any problem ever using this product. It is great. I defiantly would recommend it to anyone i know with chinchillas or any rodents that dust.

After we have started using this dust bath for our chinchilla for a while, he has started wheezing. I researched and found out that this is the problem. I believe all of the chinchilla dust bath causes this respiratory issue. Please research by yourself before you purchase this or any other dust bath product. Symptoms may not appear immediately like in our case, so please be careful. I will never buy dust bath again and have started using sand bath.

Will work fine for the chin.
