> 3 dayThis is the best cage on the market right now for a house bunny, IF it is allowed to free range for parts of the day. I’ve looked at a lot of so-called rabbit cages and most of them are so small. They aren’t healthy, long-term housing solutions. This is a nice long cage with a hidey space under the ledge, and plenty of room for a regular sized litter pan. The only thing I would change is the height of the door. It’s a little high for my 3.5 pound lop rabbit. She likes to hop in and out freely through the day, so I had to stack a couple of books at the entrance to make it easier for her. If you looking for a space that the rabbit stays in all the time, I would recommend getting a snap together wire storage cube kit (they’re cheaper than this cage) to build a larger space so the rabbit can hop around freely.

> 3 dayThe little balcony isn’t very sturdy. I’m sure my 4.5lb rabbit will tear it up before the month. She pushes on it from the inside! Nice cage with a plenty of room. I have the XL.

> 3 dayThis cage is a great value. Its quite large, more than enough room for our two dwarf bunnies. I also found it fairly easy to assemble. The only difficulty I encountered was with the clips that connect the lid of the cage to the sides, and that was because I had not looked carefully enough at the instructions. The instructions are on the back of the label on the front of the package and clearly show how to assemble, so you shouldnt have issues if you pay attention and ready carefully. The cage did come with two plastic tabs broken off, hence only 4 instead of 5 stars. It seems fairly common in other reviews for this cage to arrive cracked or broken, and so the manufacturer may want to reconsider how its packaged, or Amazon reconsider how they are packing and shipping. Luckily for us the broken tabs were part of the cage that helps to keep the shelf in place, and there were remaining unbroken tabs that secured the shelf enough that the broken tabs didnt cause an issue. Overall our bunnies seem to like their new home, its easy to open and access, and seems well made. Satisfied with this purchase.

> 3 dayI have two bunnies who I unfortunately have to keep cooped up most of the time. However, the size of this habitat gives them so much more room than any home Ive ever used for them. The one great drawback for my particular circumstance is the hutch. The hutch is not very large, it is the perfect size for my Dutch but I also have a New Zealand and well.. when she gets herself into the hutch its comical to watch her try to exit. If the hutch portion were taller this might solve the issue. Also, the door for reaching into the cage is very small and I can only imagine using it to read in for feeding and petting; certainly not for removing your pet. The accessories that came with the habitat are OK if you this is your first home; the water bottle is pretty flimsy and I dont trust the plastics safety for use with my buns, the food bowl is plastic also which is a terrible idea for any rodent pet - theyll just chew it too death. The hay manger works well, though. Construction of the habitat was a little tricky, the directions were not as clear as they should have been - instead of providing color images everything was printed in greyscale, and as you can see there are pieces that look VERY similar in black and white. Overall, though, I would recommend this home to anyone with a rabbit, guinea pig, and maybe a chinchilla. Rat and ferret owners should definitely look elsewhere as the spacing in the bars is large enough for a head to get stuck in or to allow an escape.

28-10-2024Wonderful cages! We purchased two (2) size large cages, in preparation for two guinea pigs the kids wanted to adopt. The cages are really huge and sturdy! I had debated on purchasing the x-large size cages, and Im so glad I didnt. They would have been too big for the kids rooms. The guinea pigs we adopted from the Humane Society are actually a pair (brothers), and they prefer to stay together:-) One size large cage is big enough for both of them, because the kids also let them out for a few hours, every day, in a large safety enclosure. Even with just one guinea pig, I would not go smaller than a size large cage, as I think it would be unfair to the animal. If you have an enclosure for your guinea pigs to exercise daily, then one size large cage will work for up to two guinea pigs. If you dont have the time to let them out, then I would go with the x-large, so theyd have plenty of room to scamper around. Either way (size large or x-large), its a great cage, and were so happy that we didnt settle for an average cage, like those available at Target or Petsmart. This one is much better, and so much bigger! Its huge!! We love it, and so do our little guinea pigs!
