Power surge had caused the garage opener to fail. Replaced the circuit board with this one, and now the garage opener works correctly. Garage opener now plugs into surge protector.

Easy to install. Good quality and it works like a charm. Update 2/20/2023: Still working like a charm. I bought this item in 2021. I installed it myself and I dont have any background in electronics. And, buying this saved me a lot of money... love it! Before detaching the old broken one, I marked all wires to what they were connected to. I then took a picture of everything. This made it so easy to reconnect wires where they should be connected.

My garage door opens by itself sometimes. I did some research and initial tests to conclude that the board might be bad. So I got this one here based on the current model installed . Installation and setting up the remotes and wall pads turned out to be easy. However, I spent sometimes to adjust the force etc to make the door up and down properly. The best part, I dont have to pay a garage tech for X multiple to fix the problem because I can do it! At the end, I am proud of myself for making such a move.

Ordered two of these. They work fine with the exception that the range to remote is not as good as the original, where I use to push the button a few houses away now I have to be sitting in the driveway. Other than that it works perfect and was an easy install. Old was (2) suffered damage from a long term power outage and would work intermittently. I was pleased that these worked so well and were easy to instal. Looked at settings on old one and set these (tension) the same and only had to do a few minor adjustments on one door for it to work right.

Perfect. My wife and I were able to fix the garage door. Working perfect so far. Very easy to install.
