> 3 dayThis is an excellent budget ultrawide for developers. The screen splitting is really useful for CLI and debugging tools.

Greater than one weekThe reason I got this particular monitor is because Id purchased its smaller, older sibling, the LG 29UM-68-P, and been extremely happy with it. Its basically the 2016 29-inch version of this monitor. Both are incredibly bright and crystal clear, and Ive never had a complaint about the 29 model. This one happens to be even cheaper (even at that time of this writing, $368 vs $299), so I thought, why not? For the most part, Im pleased with it, though color accuracy leaves something to be desired. Not only can I now see that the 29 model has a slight red cast, Im left with a slight green cast on the 34 (hard to see in the photo, but its there). Ive fiddled with settings but never been able to get either of them to match or get one or the other closer to pure white. I have half a mind to get a colorimeter because frankly it drives me a little nuts. Also, either because of the sheer size or because people complained, the VESA mount doesnt partially block the video connections (looking at you, 29) - everything is easily accessible. If this will be your *sole monitor* then I couldnt recommend it enough. If this will add to an existing monitor you might want to look elsewhere, or be prepared to spend time fidgeting with controls to get it to look right. Still, all that being said, I do love it, and if the news that NVIDIA will be adding Freesync compatibility in an upcoming driver release is true, Ill be even happier when gaming with it! Edit 1/15/19: The Freesync compatible NVIDIA driver released today and while its not one of the approved monitors it does appear to be working without any issues. I also bought a colorimeter but have yet to have any luck with it. Also, wanted to add that the joystick control is probably the easiest of any monitor control out there. Push away from you for up, towards you for done up to enter/select. I dont have to try and remember how to use it - its that intuitive.

> 3 dayA great monitor, I have not tried the freesynch as I do not have an AMD card yet but the color/brightness/contrast are very good. There is no noticeable ghosting to me. I would recommend this monitor if you are looking for a 1080p ultrawide.

> 3 dayI couldnt find a better monitor for under $300. Ive bought like 6 of these between work and personal and they are all amazing. SO much room for activities.

Greater than one weekReally nice monitor, great for gaming and movies, one flaw is that in the pictures it looks borderless but in reality it has regular borders, which kind of sucks, thats why I give it 4 out 5 stars. If you buy it dont forget to set it to 75hz in the display settings.

> 3 dayI got this monitor as I began my new job working from home amidst COVID. It’s definitely worth the money, and I’ll find it very hard ever going to a normal sized monitor again. I recommend it.
