Bought this to replace a monitor that died suddenly. Only meant to use a stop gap until upgraded entire system later in the year. So pleased with this monitors performance may just use it permanently. Great buy for the money.

This is only a HD monitor but it is 27 inches. I got this for my wife to replace her 24 inch monitor and make everything a bit bigger. It will run at 140 mhz refresh if that means anything to you. We use a display port connection and not HDMI. The only complaint was the monitor stand. While it is a neat stand it had one flaw. At least for my wife. It would not go down low enough for her. It seemed to be optimized to be high, but being short, she needed it very low. I had to modify a Dell monitor stand to work with the mount on the monitor to get it to the level she wanted. Other than that, she has been happy with it. So to the manufacturer, give more range of adjustment to your stands. The monitor should go all the way down, almost touching the desk. Dell does this, why not you?

I purchased this for a portrait display to go alongside my lg curved ultra wide main screen. Im pushing both from a single rtx 3080ti via display port. The 27 is so much cleaner than the primary screen that Im considering ditching my hutch and getting more to revamp the setup. My son will use it as a primary for some gaming because it out-performs the larger. I honestly have zero complaints after three months of daily use.

First off, I’m always skeptical of getting a monitor or TV, and need to see the product myself IN PERSON before I purchase displays because I am a snob about the picture quality and color fluidity for not only PC games, but entertainment and work purposes. I bought this in the Amazon Prime Sale so I got a heck of a discount, almost 50% off. This is the newer model of these gaming monitors, so no need to look for the newest product (as of July 2021). Even if you buy this monitor at MSRP, you’re getting exactly what you pay for. I was surprised at the pixel and refresh rate quality the moment I plugged it into my 3090. Before I was using a curved gaming Samsung Odyssey monitor, great picture quality on that as well, but the difference is very clear. I think Samsung focuses more on hues of blue, where this monitor is focused on warmer colors like yellows, reds, and browns. White and black colors are optimized very well, which makes choosing brightness for your games much easier. No more upping the brightness because you can’t see. The HDR10 on this is some of the best quality HDR I’ve seen on a gaming monitor except for another high end Samsung Odyssey my brother owns. But keep in mind, the Samsung one ran him around $1100 and you can get just about the same quality on this LG monitor for ~$800 less. Be sure to change the refresh rate in your setting to get the maximum quality out of this monitor. The rest is up to you :)

I cant believe I wasted over 4 years on a 75hz monitor... this switch changed my perception on what smooth looked like and I will never play on a monitor under 144hz ever again.
