The hinge is stiff enough to hold quite well. Not sure how it will hold up in time, but it is elegant and perfect for what I need it for.

Firm and stable. It does look a bit too skinny to hold anything other than ipad in the first impression but it proves its quality. I bought it to hold my ipad but ended up using it to hold my Zenbook 13inch (same weight and size like Macbook Air). And no complaint! The base is made very stable. Thinking of getting another one for my husband

Does exactly what it is supposed to and looks great. I have a 15inch tablet that sits perfectly on the stand. I was worried it may not, since the description says it fits upto 13 inch tablets. It is definitely durable and made of good quality.

This stand is very sturdy and easily adjusts for whatever angle you need. It holds the position that i adjust it to for my iPad.

This stand is exactly what I needed. It will hold a tablet in both the landscape and portrait orientations. What I like the best is that the cradle is far enough from the tabletop that I am able to plug in and charge my iPad while still working/playing on the iPad. It is very stable and has some weight. The stand cradle is easily adjusted to change the angle of the tablet. Some of the other reviewers said that the logo on the base is too apparent. I ordered the stand in silver and the logo is hardly noticeable. It is not able to fold flat for travel, but otherwise it is a great accessory for my iPad. I ordered one for each of my sisters, and they love it. My sister said that its great for holding her iPad while following a recipe. Another plus is that the cradle will hold either a phone or a tablet sturdily. I am extremely pleased with this stand and would definitely reorder this if I needed another stand.
