I wanted a stand to hold up my iPad Mini, at a good angle, so I wouldnt have to look down at it on a flat surface, straining my neck. Plus I can see the display from a distance, like a monitor. I chose this product because I could use it for the iPad or my phone, and it got good reviews. For the price, it does the job adequately. I was concerned that the feet might interfere with the bottom of the display or touch-typing, but there is no obstruction. See photos.

This little thing is great. Very sturdy. Holds my Samsung galaxy phone with NO problem. The same goes for my large Samsung tablet. Actually, my wife liked it so much I bought her one as well, it makes a great desk companion.
