Fits my external hard drive perfectly

Bought this for my wd 2tb portable drive and while it can fit the drive and the cord, the fit is extremely tight and may require some holding down in order to get the zipper to close. Ended up using it for my older 500gb Seagate external drive which fit more snug than the wd 2tb external drive

Fit great and has space for extras

I purchased 2 as I tend to keep everything on external hard drives. I have been wanting something to put the drives in and these are prefect. Its a nice tight fit and keeps the HD well padded. This price was reasonable and I would recommend it to everyone who has HDs.

I use it with a WD 2,5 portable HDD (WDBU6Y0040BBK-WESN). It fits perfectly and i feel safe letting it lying around in this case.

Works perfectly for most massive storage units

Actually the review should be 4 1/2 stars. I opened this case before opening the WD drive and thought I received the wrong item. It looked too small. Keeping my fingers crossed I opened drive and was relieved to see the packaging was a lot of protective material and the drive smaller. Its almost a perfect fit. Almost because its a very tight fit. I know you dont want a portable hard drive bouncing around in its case but a tad more room would have been nice. The case is pretty hard and I believe with the inner padding the drive will be well protected. There are two elastic bands within the drive compartment to prevent shifting and a mesh section to hold the USB cord. Not much room for anything else like a flash drive. I hope Ill never have to test the durability of the case but it looks like a small drop and all should be okay. One thing I hate about cases like this is the zipper as they always seem to jam. This zipper moves smoothly. All in all a pretty good purchase. Oh; the reason for the 4 1/2 stars? I feel it need to be just a bit bigger.
