Its sturdy & durable !

This case was advertised with the external drive as a partner case, so I bought it. BUT the case does not match or fit the Transcend drive in any way. To me, this was false advertising and should not have been partnered. I have been unable to find my slip to return the case, but am still looking. Also, looking to print my receipt so I can return it.

It is a strong case with padding and although I keep dropping it, my external drive is secure. Love it!

OK, does the job it was bight for well.

I am fastidious when it comes to backing up my files. I have a back-up external hard drive and my back-up external hard drive. I even bought unlimited cloud storage on Amazon. So protecting the hard drives is very important. This case is wonderful. It has a hard exterior and a padded partition in between the side that holds it with two elastic bands and the side with the pockets. One in a big mesh one and the other side has smaller plastic ones the are the perfect size for my SD cards, etc.

The case itself is very sturdy, yet there was a queer smell to it once I received it. The smell went away after a few weeks, but thats a small issue. I have the seagate 2 tb hard drive, and it fits well. I wouldnt call this waterproof, but if water were to be spilled, it would be fine. If you decide to swim with it, you might want something more reliable.
