Its just past the 30 day return window and the zipper already broke. After I zip it up the teeth do not stay together and it has a huge open gap. I used it once a week at home to get out my slim Seagate external drive to backup my laptop. It has not been through rough treatment, and the only other thing it carries is the small wire that attaches it to the USB port (it holds exactly what is in the product picture). It cant protect your hard drive from getting wet if it doesnt even stay closed. The design should have allowed for a little more space for the zipper to make it around the corners (its tight), and added a better quality zipper. I contacted the seller in a very nicely email today because I know it is defective but I just passed the 30 day return window. I also purchased the AmazonBasic External Hard Drive Case almost a year and a half ago, and that has been working perfectly. Its not waterproof, but there is a solid zipper on that one, and I have traveled with it multiple times. DO NOT BUY THIS LACDO CASE.

Designed like a hard case should be designed, Sturdy, Rigid. Good zipper. Padded insides. Internal Straps. Internal pockets. And most important; an internal soft padded flap for separation and extra drive protection. Excellent purchase.

It’s a misleading name for the product. it is not waterproof but a good shock proof case.

I bought two of these storage cases one for the wife and one for myself. the Seagate backup fits perfectly. like the extra pouch for the cable, even fit an extra cable as well. great value looks like it is made of a good product and will last for a while. cant go wrong with it.

LOVE IT! There is some talk that the newer WD 4TB My Passports dont fit in it. Thats nonsense. Mine fits perfectly, including the USB cable.
