So glad I ordered the case right away when I ordered the external hard drive. Good protection and device and cables all together!!!

This carrying case does not fit the portable hard drive I bought with it. It stated it fits but is a little small. The hard drive I bought was the Transcend Store Hey 35M3 1TB.

This product is not waterproof. Sure, the material its made out of is water resistant as theyve stated but it isnt water proof as the description claims.

Just big enough for a 5TB hard drive. Exactly what I needed.

Nice enough case, but the definition of waterproof seems suspect. It might stay dry to a splash of water, but certainly wouldnt if submerged. I expect waterproof to be like the definition for a watch - if its in a backpack and the boat youre being ferried in gets swamped by a wave, it stays dry inside. Doubt this would keep it dry.

We have Windows 8 & 10 PCs in our office, we bought this to replace an older HP Simple Pass to back up office files on each night or get files from on several computers in the office. I order this seagate thinking it would be perfect but it doesnt show up in the explorer file or in with other drives, you have to go to their website to download this software on any computer you want to connect it to. Either that or mine is defective. Around the office we could of just downloaded the software on all 10 computers but when it goes to a client to show a video or power point presentation we dont want to have to involve the clients IT dept to approve the software add etc just not practical of this is how its supposed to work and again, mine could be defective. Sending it back, we paid to over night it, we really needed it. Total fail.

The fit is snug, but my 4TB Seagate Backup Plus portable external hard drive fits perfectly into this great case. It is a good quality case, and the shell has a slightly non-slip feel with rounded corners. I appreciate the carabiner clip and clip-on wrist loop. The small foam squares built into the fabric on the drive storage side will absorb extra shock. The cable/memory card side has enough room to store my cable and my usb-c hub as well. I originally purchased this for my 1TB Seagate Backup Plus Slim, and ordered the large size for my 4TB thicker drive, but this will do the trick just fine. I discovered my G-Drive 1TB hard drive was too long for this case, so I will use the large size I ordered for the G-Drive.
