The Seagate Expansion+ has a proprietary cable. If you lose it, you will have to buy another one rather than grabbing your phone charging cable. For this reason, I decided that I needed to always ensure the cable was kept with the drive, and purchased this case. It is a fairly snug fit, but that will stop the drive from moving around. I dont intend to test how shockproof it is, and will assume it will give adequate protection.

This travel case was a blind purchase that accompanied a 1T Seagate portable hard drive. It was advertised to fit and at a good price. Though I dont take it outa the drawer but a couple of times a month, the case appears well built, sturdy and durable enough for any travel. I would recommend it to a friend.
