Amazon recommended this hard case for the transcend 1TB portable hard drive.. And it doesnt fit. It was a gift given after the driver date and now the return time has expired.. DONT BUY IT!

I bought two of these storage cases one for the wife and one for myself. the Seagate backup fits perfectly. like the extra pouch for the cable, even fit an extra cable as well. great value looks like it is made of a good product and will last for a while. cant go wrong with it.

While this case does fit my 4 TB external hard disk (Dimensions: 4.6 x 3.25 x 0.88 in.) properly, it does not comfortably fit the disk, along with its cable, as theres no side pouches where I could put it without adding to the overall thickness. This case is still usable for my hard disk, and does close properly, its just obviously over-bloated.
