> 3 dayThe shims are the right thickness to fit but they are not rigid enough to unlock even the most basic masterlock. This is a shim that got stuck and even after opening the lock with the key it would not budge. Using tweezers, the remnant the you see in the photo is all that could be retrieved. After opening it with the key, the remnants inside were shredded and couldnt be removed. The lock is now partially damaged.

> 3 dayHad number of Schlage locks but the keys were nowhere to be found. Watch several Internet vids on how to remove cylinder without key using shims. These worked. Takes a bit of practice but eventually you get the hang of it to slide the shim between the cylinder and the pins. I was able to do two to three cylinders before the shim started crimping.

> 3 dayThe shims come in a small container to keep them from getting damaged or lost. The count is 25 per container, a good price for the quantity. The shims are sturdy and reusable (if your careful).

> 3 dayOrdered 2 boxes of shims, with each box having 25. Both boxes only came with 15. One star for false advertisement.

> 3 dayWhen these were purchased I had never attempted to shim a lock. Since theyve arrived Ive opened seven or eight locks in effort to develop some skill. They simply work.
