I’ve never successfully closed this thing without feeling like I’m doing to break it so I always just leave in the back of the cargo area folded in half. When in use it completely fills the windshield and blocks all the sun. It does not have a lot of slack in it either, it’s perfectly cut for the X5 windshield. Other than me not knowing how to fully close it, it’s perfect.

I did not like this at all. Looks cheap. Feels cheap.

Completely covers the windshield, and has a Velcro tab in the center to attach to the rearview mirror, keeping it firmly in place. Like all of the spring-like folding covers, once youve learned the technique, its easy to fold and stow.

I bought this for a 2022 BMW X5, which it was supposed to be specifically designed to fit. It did not, and was bad enough that it wouldn’t even stay propped open. I don’t need it to be super study beyond that since it’s just blocking sun, but it feels cheap. Get what you pay for here unfortunately. Returning.

Seems to be very well made, fits great. Not easy to fold but i think that is because of solid construction.
