KnuKonceptz Kolossus OFC 4 Gauge Complete 2 Channel Amplifier Installation Kit
KnuKonceptz Kolossus amp installation kit"s feature our top of the line Kolossus Fleks power and ground cables. Made up of ultra flexible pvc and ultra fine tinned strands of oxygen free copper (OFC), the Kolossus Kable is the standard for which all others are compared to. The KOL-AK4 amp kit provides 16.5 feet of blue power wire and 3 feet of translucent black (smoke) ground wire. The KnuKonceptz FH-44 fuse holder with a 120A fuse is provided within the KOL-AK4 amp install kit, but can be upgraded to a maximum of 150A fuse (sold separately). The fuse holder does not come installed within the cable, this allows the installer to place the inline fuse holder in an optimum location during installation. It also allows the installer to extend the power wire 1-3" by using the inline fuse holder to add cable to the main run (leaving the 16.5" as one unit and using the FH-44 to "splice" a few feet of wire)
Signal for your 2 channel amplifier installation kit is carried by the Klarity Kable 5 Meter (16.25") RCA Cable. The Klarity RCA Cable is a copper braid shielded coaxial RCA that uses a Hybrid metal/molded RCA termination with strain relief for a durable, low loss connection to your head unit and amplifier. A separate remote turn on lead is included. This wire is connected to your radio"s power antenna lead or amp turn on lead (refer to your head unit"s manual) Your amplifier"s output is sent through KnuKonceptz Kord 12 gauge speaker wire, 20 feet of 12 gauge clear blue speaker wire is included with the kit.
The KOL-AK4 is a complete kit, meaning additional no additional parts are required to complete your installation.

How many watts can this amp kit handle? At KnuKonceptz, we do not use "watts" to rate our amp kits. This is a very inaccurate method to determine what the proper gauge wire required for your amp installation. Many amp manufactures do not represent the output of their product accurately in watts. Please refer to your amplifier"s fuse rating, this is a number a manufacture can not fake, well they could but it would put their product in harms way! Add up the fuses on the end of your amp (two 30A fuses = 60A total draw) If this number is under 120A, this kit will fit your application. If over 150A, a larger gauge wire would be required. For this we recommend the KnuKonceptz Kolossus 0 Gauge amp kit

- Using American Wire Gauge (AWG) standards, the gauge of stranded wire is determined by the total area of the conductor.
- To calculate this you would take the area of each strand and add it together. This area, in square mm, then determines gauge.
- Diameter is not as critical with stranded wire, this is due to the tiny air gaps between each strand. Diameter may fluctuate with strand size and how tightly wound the rope of the cable is.
- The smaller the number, the larger the wire, until you reach zero or aught (0). From zero, you then have double aught (00), three aught (000) and so on.
- Based on AWG, Kolossus Kable is slightly larger than traditional 4 gauge
