Our buns didnt play with or in it. They prefer cardboard boxes...and those are free.

The color is so light that you see the cardboard so it looks cheap :(

The rating is for the tube only. Another reviewer said the stuffing was dangerous and after feeling the material, didnt use it either. Have a dwarf and the tube is wide enough for her to turn around. If has to be changed out as often as her wooden hideaways due to smell. She spends a lot of time in it.

Its a bigger and thicker paper towel roll filled with Easter basket stuffing, though my prairie dog seems to like it as much as paper towel rolls (which i now use, so thanks for the idea kaytee).

Bought 2 (3 if you include the larger version) so far and my hammy loves them!

Our guinea pig died from the fluffy material inside this tube. My children are devastated. Please please please remove fluffy material. Guinea pigs will eat it. It is not meant to be eaten. Just so sad to know I could have prevented this :(
