Good product. Recommended! - Love this knife!!! Only sharpened on one side, but maybe thats by design. It cuts well and looks awesome!

I bought this for my boyfriend for Christmas and he hasnt taken it off his belt since he got it.

This knife is great and it is MADE in USA!! It is definitely not super sharp out of box but a few swipes on the stone and it sharpens nicely. Sheath fits excellent with a nice snap in place the last 1/4. You really dont need the snap as you can turn the sheath upside down and shake vigorously and knife will not fall out, but a slight tug and it releases fron the sheath smoothly,

Am absolutely in love with my new blade. Ka-bar... I cant add to whats already been said before -its an excellent survival knife

Ive had a Ka-bar for years. I bought this one for my dad for christmas. He hunts a lot. When he told me he had to jump on the back of a hog and cut it, I figured this is the knife for him.

Good knife and a great deal here on Amazon. I ordered this KA-BAR and the SOG Seal Pup and the KA-BAR is a better deal. I will keep both knives but the KA-BAR is my go to primary.

Just get one. These are top notch knives that are great for all sorts of outdoor activities. You wont regret it.

Whether you are a casual knife collector or a serious outdoorsman or survivalist, you should consider owning the classic Ka-Bar fighting knife. It is still the standard by which all fixed-blade utility fighting knives will be measured. Iconic, intimidating, instantly recognizable, and made-in-the-USA-quality! I went with the black-handled, serrated version, with the hard sheath, both for the greater utility over the leather-handled version and leather sheath, and out of respect for those who actually served in the military. (Having never had the opportunity to serve, I did not want to own the Ka-Bar USMC version). Razor sharp out of the box, a noted subtle difference from my other serrated knives is that this Ka-Bars serrations were ground more pracically for a traditional right-handed grip (the serrations are on the USA-1211 side and not the KA-BAR side as shown in most photos). Dont be alarmed if your knife arrives this way and doesnt look like the stock photo--I contacted Ka-Bar and this was done on purpose as all newer versions of this knife will have the serrations on the USA-1211 side. At Amazons ultra-competitive price, you cannot go wrong with this purchase!
