> 3 dayNice portable monitor for my MAC, it’s made exclusive for MacBook. Attached to my Mac’s monitor perfectly, and no massy extra cables needed. The USB C cable is attached to the back of the product.

> 3 dayHey there, folks! Mike P. here with a review of the JoyReal Portable Monitor for Laptop USB Dual Screen Extender 12 FHD 1080P with Screen Protector. I gotta say, I was a bit skeptical about this monitor at first. I mean, a portable monitor that can extend your laptop screen? Thats a tall order. But let me tell you, this little guy exceeded my expectations. First of all, the picture quality is fantastic. The FHD 1080P screen is crisp and clear, and the colors are bright and vibrant. And at 12 inches, its the perfect size for on-the-go use. Setting it up was a breeze, too. All I had to do was plug it into my laptops USB port and boom, instant dual screen setup. And let me tell you, having that extra screen real estate is a game changer. I can work on one screen while having my email or reference materials open on the other. But what really impressed me was the included screen protector. Its a small thing, but it shows that JoyReal really cares about the quality of their product. And its a nice touch that gives me peace of mind when Im tossing this monitor in my bag and heading out for the day. All in all, Im really happy with the JoyReal Portable Monitor. Its a great addition to my work setup, and its made my life a whole lot easier. Highly recommended!

> 3 dayI was surprised by how nice it looks when I first open box. Solid material and nice silver color paint. The screen display quality is almost the same as my MacBook. It also comes with a leather protection cover to cover the screen. I usually just put the cover on and fold it into my backpack. A wonderful purchase.

15-11-2024The resolution was garbage, it was like having a 90s flip phone resolution on my mac. Too heavy, anything more than a slight angle and the screen would fall back and it has no kickstand. Could not pivot enough to be useful in any direction. The only thing I could see this for is using it as a training device on the back of a laptop if someone was sitting across from you. It did fit and stay on my mac well, that much I can say. I will stick with my iPad and my Mountie clamp. It was worth a shot.

> 3 dayI get spoiled when I’m in the office and I am able to use my three screens at all times. Then when I leave the office and I am reduced to just my laptop screen, I feel like I’m missing a big part of what allows me to be productive. This additional screen and its portability with my laptop, gives me the extended outlook that I need to be productive when I’m on the road. The color and clarity of the screen is top notch and the portability of the additional screen is perfect. Easily installed and even easier to use, I recommend this to anyone who travels for business and would love to have an additional screen available to them. Good quality materials are used in the manufacturing of the screen which allows it to be thin yet crystal clear. I cannot say enough good things about this product.

> 3 daySo This is designed for a Macbook Air 13, an extremely light computer. The screen is 12, significantly smaller than the already small macbook screen. The screen quality isnt great, especially compared to the laptops built in screen. The attachments to make this work weigh more than the laptop, the screen mechanism is clumsy; this is a REALLY BAD DESIGN. Reduces your macbook battery life by about 35% while on. so not great for travel. Setup and installation is pretty complex for something that should just snap on.

> 3 dayI picked this up thinking that despite it saying that it is a Macbook screen extender; that it could actually work on other laptops. However it cannot. It is tiny and would only fit a macbook air; it wont even fit a normal macbook (at least the ones that I have seen and the measurements I looked up). The screen is very small at 12 but the visibility of the screen itself isnt that great. Contrast is pretty poor but motion @ 60Hz is good (as shown by pictures). I just had to hold the monitor up to my laptop to do the testing. it comes with a built in USB-C cable (which also is dangerous if it breaks) and has an angle that is really only built for a macbook air.... This portable screen isnt very versatile as it has no stand and no way to use it with anything BUT a laptop that it can mount to the back of with magnets / glue which is pretty nuts.... So if your laptop doesnt match it exactly (just like none of mine do) it can literally not be used. So overall I put it back in the box because I dont have a laptop that matches this little screen also the fact that the box has a different brand than the external box and the brand in the listing, which is sketchy.

> 3 dayI puchased a single screen external monitor for my MacBook last year, been used it for almost a year had no problem. Decided to upgrade my tool since I use my Macbook more and more. It seems like this product is for Macbook exclusive, the price is kind of on my budge. The product itself comes with an extra type C cable, however the other type c cable is attached to the monitor, which is an amazing design. The barracket fit my 13.3 inches screen perfectly and display quality is high resolution. The prodcut is made of some kind of metal material which is more stable than plastic I believe. High recommended if you own a Macbook.
