> 3 dayI was able to trace a couple of cable runs with this tool. The speaker was very loud and could be heard from the inside of the house to the outside. The Continuity tester works great in finding shorts in the coax. I used it on rg6 .

Greater than one weekA real time saver when you are tracing a coax cable from one side of the house to the other. There are more expensive solutions, but this works perfectly. I had all of my coax terminating at a multi-switch and I needed to figure out where they originated. The Jonard tester is solidly built (all metal) and works great.

> 3 dayThe direct TV guy removed all the labels from the coax in the attic when he pulled his equipment. With a little up and down the ladder they are all re-labeled. Nice feature in that the detector serves as a power off feature when put back in its proper storage place. (Some designer has worked in the field at one time I suspect.)
