The band that holds it onto the baby’s head is super soft and stretchy and almost reminds me of panty hose. My baby that I bought them for isn’t born yet so I haven’t used them to know if they stretch out and don’t retain their original size or not but I can’t wait to!!

- The stitching is solid and there aren"t any visible strings in this package.
- And the amount of stretch is good--not so little that it falls off, not so tight as to give baby headaches.
- The fabric isn"t super-heavy, but it"s a soft nylon that does a reasonable job of holding onto baby fine hair.
