I needed talc for sand casting. This is just like the oldschool J&J body powder. Talc and stink pretty. Does what I needed it to do, releases my mold from casting sand Need talc? Buy this!

I’m glad that this is really talc and not corn starch. However, this is not the traditional (at least in the US) perfume - this doesn’t smell like baby powder at all, it smells like an old Indian man, a heavy aroma like cloves and sandalwood and spiced cigarettes…I’ll keep using it because it’s talc and I’m not needing to smell like a baby - but I won’t but it again because it’s really not the product that I was hoping and wanted -

Always afraid by the time I order they’d have switched this to cornstarch too, but it’s talc as of 03/2023. 6 bottles, be aware these are smaller than typical baby powder containers in the US, but still a good deal and talc is hard to find.

Very pungent, objectionable odor, tried to air out for a week, followed with 2 days in sun, still lingering. Returning all 6 bottles.

The product arrived in perfect condition, super-fast. Like everyone else, I hate the inferior cornstarch-based powders now sold by EVERY company, and wanted the long-lasting, cool comfort that only real talc gives. Even though the shaker top doesnt work that well, the powder feels right going on, but the scent of this stuff is NOTHING like the classic Johnsons Baby Powder we all knew and loved. Its more like a really watered-down sandalwood scent. The bottles I received all say Made in Thailand, and maybe thats what theyre used to over there. [?] If youre desperately seeking real talc, this is it - just dont expect the scent of American Johnons Baby Powder, cause this aint the stuff.

I use this on my horses hooves after putting on hoof armor. Gets the job done.
