This is a great safety device to protect the torso region. I bought this for my 6 yr old son and he loves it - it looks cool but its also designed and constructed very well, too.

Bought this for my 11 yr old son when riding dirt bikes and Im pleasantly surprised at how good it works. Hes not racing, just trails and easy sand tracks as he learns to ride and this vest is perfect for it. He has tested it with a couple of tumbles and so far it provides good protection, is light weight, and does not shift around while riding. He is approx 4 1/2 ft tall and 85 lbs and a large fits about right.

Adjustable fit

This fits my 11 year old well with room to grow (he is a little on the small size for his age). So far we have not noticed any problems with quality. I purchased it because it looked like just as good of protection as some of the other brands out there but at a lower cost. So far we do not have any disappointments in this product and it appears that it will offer good protection. Hopefully he does not crash but if he does I will be sure to update this review with how it performed. Update from the 2018 review: Its now 2021 and my 11 yr old is 14 and has just about outgrown this. Hes on a bigger bike and has had several minor spills since we bought this. Its held up well and his 4 yr old brother has now taken over it. However, I am disappointed (but not surprised)to see that the price has increased significantly since our original purchase.

I purchased the medium size for my daughter who is just south of 4 feet tall and it fits well, but also leaves some room for her to grow since its adjustable. My only complaint is that some of the stitching on the front armor has come out and well need to re-sow it, so it doesnt come off. It might just be an anomaly, but worth noting for others. However, for the money, Id still buy it again, cuz it seems like an easy fix.
