This sake set is absolutely the most exquisite craftsmanship you could ask for. Every piece I have received has been beautiful in quality and design. Overpaying or underpaying wont get you a better suit. You couldnt ask for better.

The set includes all the various pieces that you need to enjoy your sake, hot or cold.

The wife and I love sushi and also love sake with it. During the winter, I prefer my sake to be hot rather than cold. This is a very beautiful kit and gives you everything you need in order to not only have hot sake, but also to be able to serve it elegantly. The color of the vessels and the cups is magnificent. The red on the interior of the cups is a nice rich and wet look. Outstanding! It comes with a couple of tea candles which are easily purchased elsewhere when you need them, and it comes with a great little electric lighter which is rechargeable via usb. No directions came with this kit, so I would recommend that you place your sake vessel in the warming bowl on top of the cooking or candle bowl and then you add Hot water into the bowl. That way you will get your sake warmed faster. If you simply put cold water in and wait for the candle to warm it and the sake within the vessel, you will be waiting a long time. We use our tea kettle water to start and then the candle keeps it warm enough. It also comes with a case which is really nice looking as well, although, this kit is so beautiful you really want to display it uncased. Hope that helps you today.

I bought this Sake set for my husband and he really loved it. Its definitely worth the money and all the pieces feel sturdy and well made. The colors are bold and pretty. The lighter is very handy to have too. While the case is a bit flimsy the foam inside is sturdy and will protect the set well. Overall the case will be useful for protecting the set. Also be careful with the zipper its a bit flimsy.

This set has a simple beauty I really like. At first I wasnt sure about the all black with only the red to set it off. But in person and set up it looks so nice. The carry bag is a nice way to store and protect the set. The foam inside is so thick I think you could drop the bag and not break anything inside. And everything fits snugly and is easy to remove. The cups and the flask or Tokkuri have a good solid feel in the hand. The warmer works well. And I think the koi art on the bowl goes well with the overall understated beauty and lines of it all. Im glad I ordered the set because I appreciate it more in person.

Was a gift for my adult son/DIL who has just discovered Saki, but was drinking it out of a cordial glass. Made me cringe. So I looked for a set that was similar to ones I had seen in homes during my travels in the Far East. I am not Asian, so I will not say it is authentic, but it is very similar to what I had seen. And they loved it! especially the warmer and candle lighter.

When I ordered this set I was mostly looking at having a nice set up for keeping the sake warm while my wife and I enjoy a nice meal or are relaxing. This is was way more impressive than I was expecting. First there is the case. It snugly but not awkwardly holds everything. I was planning just to distribute the parts to various shelves, but this set stays as it is, and I feel like I could take this over to friends and have the fun experience of opening it up and taking everything out, while also not worrying about anything being damaged along the way. As to the quality, everything feels sturdy and well crafted. The cups are a tad small, but not by much. For our most recent date night got to break this out and test everything and it all worked like a charm. Very happy and highly recommend.

I am looking foreword to using it

This sake set is stunning. All the pieces were done perfectly. The finish is excellent. I think for the money the quality is above average. Be careful with the lighter, you can easily burn yourself. Super cool gift for anyone who likes this motif or sake in general. You really could use it for tea as well, any drink really. I would gift it if I didnt love it so much.

Sushi night just got a hot upgrade! Maybe these particular candles are cheap enough for single use and disposal, but the place for the candles to sit in the travel case is much deeper than the two included candles take up. I will probably replace them with standard tea lights if they arent too hot for this unit. Ive used tea lights to heat tea cans before, this is my first Sake set. But everything is nice and the travel/storage case along is a cool feature. The double boiler and everthing is nice, and sits nicely on the serving tray. Everything is built great and I couldnt be happier. Hot sake is where its at!
