My fiance really likes the jansport brand, so this was a good pick for a birthday gift. He loves the color and its good quality.

This one has a nice leather bottom, decent sized and arranged pockets, and the construction is pretty good. Hopefully it will hold up as long as some of the ones I had for a couple of decades did before they began to have issues.

Every now and then my kids see a school backpack they think is cool and ask for it. A couple times Ive said ok. If it wasnt a name brand pack, it always fell apart too soon. Last time it was zipper failures. None of the Jansport bags have failed. Kids need something bigger, throw the old one in the wash, donate it to charity. 100% satisfied.

Love this backpack, its the perfect size for my grad school needs and really trendy.

Jansport makes a lot of bags so it was hard to decide which one to get. This particular one, The Cool Student, isnt explicitly offered in the official Jansport page (none that I can tell). The price is okay, a little pricey, but it holds a lot. It has a laptop divider, a side pocket for water bottles and the fabric feels sturdy. Made in China of course. Still, I cant wait to try out their lifetime guarantee. Will update the review if it doesnt last the school year.
