JanSport Cool Student 15-Inch Laptop Backpack-Classic School Bag, Navy, One Size

This is the OG bag everyone raves about? Why? This fabric could rip if I look at it too hard. For the price and with how everyone talks about the brand, I expected… not this. Sending it back.

This bag has plenty of space inside, has a special space for a laptop - if you need it. Very good quality as expected fro Jansport.

It’s the greatest brand for backpacks!!

I use it as my teacher backpack. I love the color. It fits my thugs well and is comfortable in my shoulders as I carry many many things. Only problem I’ve had is that the tags on the inside got caught in the zipper and was a pain to pull apart. I had to cut off all the tags from the inside. Other than that this is an awesome backpack.

I ordered a blue backpack, I was sent a black backpack that was shoved in a bag labelled navy (though tag on bag said black). For some reason the order never got marked as being sent, so I was unable to contact Amazon to have the issue fixed. It is literally listed as being lost as of right now. And because my old backpack was falling apart (same brand over 15 years old) and I really needed a backpack, Im stuck with one that I had a physical negative reaction to seeing. The leather on the bottom is nice and supple. It fits comfortably. The zippers feel cheap compared to my old backpack and Im not sure how they will hold up over time.

Classic! It’s the classic Jansport backpack. Item arrived as pictured with no issues. It’s more of a medium size backpack. Perfect for a middle schooler or younger.

I had a Jansport in college, several years ago. Material was, essentially, denim and the bag was almost indestructible. I let my son have it when he started junior high and he managed to damage it...but he could tear up an anvil. This bags material is thin, which is not an issue. Its just different than the old Jansport I had in college. The problem I have with this bag is twofold. First, there are flaps that cover most of the zippers. I assume they are cosmetic because they serve no other purpose other than to discourage someone from unzipping the bag in a crowd while its on the owners back. You have to flip the flap up in order to unzip, which I find mildly infuriating. Also, due to the thin, soft material, the bag falls forward when placed on a flat surface. This isnt unique to this bag. Im pretty sure most of them do this. Regardless if what you put in any of the pockets, the bag migrates forward and tries to fall over on its front. It would be cool if they would make a bag that had a rigid bottom that wouldnt fall over.

I would’ve liked if the straps were a little softer and if they didn’t sort of twist to one side making them put more pressure on my shoulders, but overall good backpack.
