Greater than one weekI bought this item to free up an outlet by being able to plug two devices in to one charger with the cables for two devices always plugged in. I was surprised to find that when I plugged the lightning connector into my iPhone that it did not automatically begin to charge. This problem occurred with both chargers in the package. It did not matter whether I used any of the cables provided with the chargers or a cable I already had. Eventually I was able to get the phone to charge by unplugging the cable at the charging end and putting it back in to the charger. Needless to say, this is very inconvenient, especially if the wall outlet is not in an easily accessible spot. The last thing anyone wants to do is have to reach under a desk whenever their phone needs to be charged, remove the cable from the charger, and plug it back in just to get it to work. I should have spent my money on a genuine Apple charger. I would NOT buy this item again and do NOT recommend it.
